Most of the Leeds Fans that were going will presumably already have booked and paid for their accommodation and travel.

Leeds could put them in the hotel at the ground for a nominal fee compared to normal. The attendance would be good enough for Leeds to offset any fees they’ve paid to get over and for Catalan to make money for it imo.

How do you know the hotel has enough rooms?

Catalans’ statement doesn’t paint Leeds in a good light, but there’s 2 sides to every story. No doubt it will come out in the wash. Feel sorry for Rhinos fans who’ve booked non refundable flights and accommodation.

Although you can empathise with his frustrations, if leeds reversed the fixture theyd suffer financially with the short notice for walk up fans any away support and season ticket holders unable to attend. Postponing along with the giants game obviously has implications too, so unfortunately the burden falls on catalan.

Be a shame for the poor fans who have not gone through the Rhinos ticket office and paid for accommodation.

Might be in a minority here but actually feel sorry for Catalan who have had two games over here postponed which wasn’t their fault and asked us for a favour of swapping a fixture and where not interested. My point we could of played at Headingley on Sunday. If Hetherington wants to penny pinch does he really think that a poxy gimmick of a double-header would draw a larger crowd than next Sun? Poor from us and guess no one will do us a turn now. Also feel sorry for our fans travelling this week.

Switching the august fixture would have meant travelling to Toronto backed up by a trip to Perpignan. Sandwiched between away fixtures at Hull and saints. Some itinerary, that.
