I was told about it a while back, interesting to see how he plays against us on Saturday.

Big athletic kid. Looks an outstanding prospect. Was certainly a handful for us on Sunday.

I’d say it’s another reason than not playing first team .......

That's a bit cryptic, are you unimpressed with what's going on in the academy?
The thing that strikes me about recent selection is that Ferres & Donaldson are both getting a game and not signed up for 2020. That's a clear message to Peteru, Oledski, Smith & Singo that their inconsistent performances are not cutting it, particularly when we are going with only 3 props, one of whom is Cuthbo and Donaldson is a true grafter but lightweight.
Agree with others, hooker is the next priority. Is Parcell still technically on loan ? In fact is Tui on loan as well? Not sure how all that works for us signing more overseas until both are resolved. I can't see much happening myself.

| Dwyer has good performances sometimes, he was good against London. Where I'm not so keen is how he links with teammates, and particularly his dummy half work. Lunt, I'm guessing won't get retained next year but it wouldn't surprise me if he did either.
Johnson isn't quite ready yet but could feature from the subs bench through 2020.
If we could find new 7, 8, 9 that would be ideal but I can see us running with a very similar looking squad next year.
Actually our 2020 may be defined by how well some of the Academy prospects step up.

How I’m expecting us to look, but would like a few more signings and releases in the club. Wouldnt be surprised to see us keep Lunt too. Ferres and Lunt decision not made / announced yet. Personally would like to see Cuthbertson (our of the quota players) leave and bring in another younger name in the quota spot. Would like another English forward and a winger too.

| Brad Dwyer can’t be our main hooker, he’s a livewire running from dummy half but his passing game isn’t good enough.

So with the confirmation of game our 2020 squad is starting to take shape. If Merrin returns to oz i hope we replace him with a class prop we've been linked with Matt Prior and I'd take him would boost our front row massively. If Myler leaves think we need to bring in another 9 for cover or resign Lunt on a 1 year deal for cover, I've seen other posters saying try Myler at 9 and that might not be a bad option because our half backs are much stronger this year so we will have more leadership and control from our halves but I'd only go with Dwyer and Myler as our hooking options for next year if we were to do that then I'd like Corey Johnson to be in the 17 regularly for 2021, If Golding goes i think we have enough cover in backs to cover if injures happened at full back Walker/ L.Sutcliffe/ Handley and even young Whitton or Stephens can get a gig. Hope Merrin stays but can't see it personally like i said if he goes we need a prop personally hope we get 2 more decent props and try offload Singleton or Peteru to make cap space.

| Cuthbo and/or Singo and/or Peteru to leave, I'd make a bid for Luke to partner someone Like Prior (a nice physical hooker takes a bit of heat off the props)… we'd be cooking on gas.
To be honest guys I think KS is quietly trying to make 2020 count. We're really not far away from a decent looking squad suddenly, and the season hasn't even finished proper yet.

| Personally I think Newman needs to beef up a bit, otherwise that edge will get peppered and him and Briscoe ain’t big enough!

Well.. as long as we get a tough starting prop to partner Ava, for me it would be a toss up in priority between hooker and right wing.
L Briscoe is workmanlike and does a job, but he's not a player the opposition would worry too much about. T Briscoe has a serious injury and we've seen more than one player lose their pace after knee ops. Not sure any of the academy lads are really ready to cover wing yet.

| Ideally we need Cuthbo to leave then we can sign two top overseas players(presuming Merrin stays in Aus) hopefully a hooker and a prop.As many have mentioned Luke and Prior would fit the bill.

| If Johnson is the great hope maybe Lunt for a year is better than signing a younger hooker who'll hang around for years.
