| Quote: Brodie123 "I buy that, playing Golding at 7, he played all his junior rugby at Stanningley at either 6 or 7, yes I am a Golding fan , he also can play 9 as well as fullback, a good player to have around the squad. Some at the club do not rate him, so unfortunately that's that.
Regarding Walker being England's full back in the next three years, although he is a great prospect, he is light years away from Zac Hardaker in terms of being number 1 in that position, he will I feel only get his shirt if ZH gets injured or banned again
Fair point re. Zak - when on his game he’s brilliant. Such a shame about his temperament.

To play the like of Lolohea and Sutcliffe at FB ahead of Golding is embarrassing.
I like Walker don`t get me wrong and I`m sure he will be one for the future and he looks reasonably good in a poor Leeds team.
Probably better than Golding yes but like I say I`m bigging Golding up as a fan of his.'"
Totally agree - give him a go !

| Like Dwyer, even his own players didn't know what Rangi Chase was going to do, but he was an X factor player. I'm not saying Dwyer's in the same class, but we currently have few X factor players. Of course he's frustrating, but basic play isn't going to cut it. I appreciate his enthusiasm, and would rather see him trying things than Mclelland going AWOL after 20 mins.

| Milk Churns.
But really, point taken.
Back about talking about the game please and I cannot believe there hasn't been any fish puns as yet either.

| I think the plaice will be a bit subdued after last weeks game, but I'm hoping the lads can forget about it and put in a brilliant performance, cod knows we need one, maybe a plan could be to wind Connor up, he'll surely take the bait, hook line and sinker? we also need to tackle better than last week and that may cast a doubt in Hulls mind, we desperately need to start floating to the top end of the table.

| Very good timing is this with St Helens confirming they’ll take a very youthful squad for London on Sunday with as many as 10 players rested. Hopefully Hull FC are thinking the same with the semi finals looming.

| The crowd needs to stay behind the players if home games are to be an advantage to us.
I don’t believe the players aren’t trying; we just don’t have enough in form still, it’s an unsettled side and they’re playing under negative pressure.
None of the lads are running out not wanting to win.

A question we ask ourselves on a weekly basis
If I had to guess it'll be the half assed one.

| The best case scenario for Leeds is if Hull name a near to full strength side. Leeds then go back to their physical 'siege mentality' style of play that we saw against Catalans and Cas. In this scenario it will be impossible for the Hull players and coaching staff not to start thinking about the Cup in the backs of their minds, and this should be enough for them to lose focus.
The alternative, of Hull naming a weak side, will be a disaster for Leeds. We have shown that we cannot cope with the favourites tag, and do not respect teams we are expected to beat (see last week). Meanwhile the Hull fringe players and youngsters will bust a gut to come into contention for the big Cup game.
IMO our inability to be ruthless against weaker teams has become one of the hallmarks of the team in recent years - all the more frustrating when they regularly put in good performances against the bigger named teams. This is something that I would like to think Kevin Sinfield is addressing as DoR.

| Why do Saints want to rest players for a semi against a Championship team?
Apart from the fact that they are disrespecting the competition surely ALL teams should play their strongest available side for the benefit of the supporters!

Risk of injury gives some players a week off.Fringe players Will have been told they still have a chance of making 17 for the semi.
