Maybe the club have assessed his situation and think that ne might only play 25% again next year, what if getting rid of Garbutt means we get a better player?
I can guarantee if Garbutt had stayed and hardly played next year people would have been saying we should have got rid, the club cannot win with some people on here.

| Another season like last season and Ward maybe on his way out. too many Rhino forwards are spending too much time in the treatment room and are not playing due to injuries. there is just something in this club that is not right, either the training methods in terms of making tackles or their level of fitness at the start of the season, what ever it was showed we had a soft underbelly last season.

I get the feeling that was what annoyed Sinfield the most

| So given that Mitch has now been pictured training with HKR, is anyone actually going to formally announce this? Bit embarrassing that the club haven’t said anything...

daft int it.even taking the comparisons out of the equation Hanley was out after having his jaw broke by an act of thuggery, peacock a common knee injury similar to both Hall and watkins this year. rather than iggle niggle injuries.as i and others have said, think there was more than just injuries with Garbutt.

| So does it mean when the fitness of the team was wearing thin and players may have been asked to play while cerrying injurys one player and maybe more preferred to sit in the stand and say no I`m injured ?

The rumour I heard was when his Mrs was giving birth last year, Mitch dug his heels in to be given maternity leave, which obviously didn't go down too well with the team in bits.

| I know it's a cliché but in times likes this you have to trust the management team.
It's incredibly rare a club will give in depth details as to why a player will leave or a different player will stay.
Fact is he has gone. We now have a quota spot and more spare wages available so let's so what the club do next.
