| Already plenty of bed wetting on social media to a one point lost and needing a clear out.
Context - the last time Wigan won at Headingley we had Sinfield, McGuire, Peacock, Burrow, Leuluai and Webb and it finished 8-50 and we still beat them in both SF's and won the GF.
Tonight's lost is disappointing but still a team learning under new leaders. They got it wrong in the last 10-15 mins but let's give them the chance to learn from it before getting carried away. The Golden Geberation certainly had a lot worst than 1 point losses in their time despite the successes.

| Would we have won if Walters had played???? Only teasing Gotcha.
Thought we was poor tonight with the ball. Last 15/20 minutes we played for the hooter. Five drives and a 10 or 15 yard kick drilled into touch suggested we was not trying to score again and Wigan had 15 mins to score 9 points which they duly did.
The short kick off at 8-8 was suicidal rugby and was a poor option to take and ended up costing us dearly.
While others may say we went too early for a drop goal I'm ok with what we did. 2 more drives would have gained little and had Myler under even more pressure from defenders bearing down on him so the earlier the better for me.
Look, defensively we was very good tonight and I thought Parcell was as good as he's been all season out of dummy half so there are some positives out of the game but ultimately I thought Wigan offensively was marginally better and despite the milking of penalties I thought they just about deserved the win.

| I was stood right behind the sticks in the Western Terrace and Leeds fans threw loads of small sponge rugby balls at our players before kick off and ours threw the same balls at your players before the second half kicked off. These were being given out before the game around the stadium. An absolute non event as I’m sure both sets of players would agree.

100%
To put one of superleagues marquee fixtures on the wrong side of the Easter weekend is lunacy.
It was a dreadful spectacle and that’s sad considering the two groups of players on show.

Spot on. It looked like two teams just trying to get through the game rather than win for the majority. For a fixture like Leeds vs Wigan it should be all out giving it their all.

| Other issues aside myler, who has surprised me with how hes gone so far, really needs a proper half back partner as moon is nowhere near and is also wasted there.

Agree, Moon had a shocker. I thought Cuthbertson struggled too.

Which player do you mean? Sutton seemed to react to something tbf, Marshall began swearing and screaming in fans faces (some no older than 13) as soon as he got over to that corner. Tominks was clapping and cheering which is a bit unsportsmanlike but every team (including Leeds) have players who do that.
Typical pies, can't even admit that throwing things at players is absolutely disgraceful.'"
ok, I’m not gonna change your mind. Believe what you want. Some people take rugby way too seriously. There’s no way that any grown adult should be getting to the point where they ‘hate’ a team or players or fans enough to call them scum.
We’re all just rugby fans, and the players really (unlike footballers) are mosty just normal down to earth lads who mostly like each other even between rival teams.
If you want to keep being pathetic calling people ‘scum’ then carry on pal.

Spot on, moon is a better centre than playing any kind of half back role. Get a decent half back and we have the best three quarter line in the league. Poor refereeing last night, play the ball area was woeful, both teams conning the referee to win penalties. Superb drop goal by Tompkins have to give the lad credit for that. On both our attempted drop goal attempts several Wigan players were blatantly offside. They were actually stood well in front of the referee. Not sour grapes just stating the blindingly obvious.

| In no way do I claim to be a great analyst of the game, but if there was a game plan last night it didn't make it into the pitch. There seemed to me to be little or no organisation, they played like strangers. I can take losing, but that was poor from Leeds, all round the park.

Reliable sources? Does your source/sources indicate the destination of moon. Remember when he wanted to leave salford on the grounds he was homesick . Obviously Leeds must be closer to Australia than sunny salford.
