| Got away with that one the lads put a shift in defensively but very poor handling & discipline.
Also losing 2 forwards & not using Ormanroyd until the last 4 minutes was ridiculous absolutely no need at all.

Probably about what we would have got at Headingly, possibly we would have got more if it had not been such miserable weather, or if it was a Friday

Could've sworn SmokeyTA guaranteed 30k if we played at Elland Road.

How can you say it was ridiculous? The players used are in good condition and able to play long minutes and proved it with an outstanding defensive display. The weather made the handling conditions difficult and from what I have seen of Ormondroyd he has a bit of a loose carry so not best suited.

| Afwul performance, good result. Stevie ward was best player on the pitch by a mile for me. Happy enough.
Shame about all the props we'v got injured, we'r going to be extremely lightweight against Melbourne.

| Fine all round performance from Keinhorst who showed why he is a better centre than Sutcliffe. His footwork, intelligent lines of running and brave commitment deserve a first team place. Not only did he score three very good and important tries but he made 32 tackles, topped the clean breaks and only Hall made more tackle busts and only Hall and Walker made more carries.
Cutherbertson and JJB made 50 tackles apiece with Singleton close behind on 48 and Ward and Parcell in the mid 40's
The handling was very poor even taking into account the conditions but the team showed great character to tough it out when things were going wrong.

| Stevie Ward showed he is now a better player than before his injury. Great prospect.

| I regret getting tickets in the East Stand lower.
Christ alive, I may as well have stood up all game, up and down, up and down, folk rolling in 10 mins into the second half, no room to breathe at certain points and soaked through.
I miss the Carnegie.

| Thank God we didn't decide to move across to Elland Road for the whole season whist HQ is redeveloped. The place is a complete dump crammed in like sardines in children's seats. No wonder fans stand up. The atmosphere with 16K in the ground was poor. It felt like we were at HKR who at least gave some vocal support. Can the staff at Elland Road not tell the time? Gates open at 6pm was printed on my ticket, reluctantly they opened up at 6.15. Only one more game to endure at this dreadful venue.

When they were all over us in the first half and a little at the beginning of the second agreed, apart from that it was quite muted from HKR.
Trys apart, where we were in the similar area as yourself there was nothing, though been pish wet through and stuffed into the gangways im not surprised there was no singing!
