| Thank you to all of the Leeds fans that came over for what turned out to be a very enjoyable game of rugby. Both teams played well and have shown there is some good strength in depth. Congratulations on the win, I hope you have a safe trip home, and a very happy new year

| Was very happy with the performance today. Singleton and Oledzki had very good games and I think Oledzki will be looking at playing quite a lot this year with taking Galloways place.
Myler and Dwyer showed glimpses of what they can do. Both picked up head knocks in the game but should be fine.
The Walker v Golding battle is going to go to a different level this season.
Excited with the strength in depth of the team, especially with the youngsters all showing up. Looking like Trout will be the next one coming through the academy too.

| I thought Ormondroyd and Keinhorst had good games too, we’ve got some really good strength in depth this year and lots of competition for places in the 17.

| Sleeve backed down I know the lads family young jack was offered a paltry amount and was on his way to Warrington.
The offer was improved with the promise of a chance to claim a place in the side then come back and talk again.
Sleeve honoured his word.

| What constitutes a "paltry amount"? Paltry compared to Warrington? Enough good young players have stayed at Headingley with GH's "paltry amounts"
Was it a paltry amount or just not a generous amount.

| Anyone see macs interview when he mentions how oledzki needs to accept that he's a prop and accept that he's going to be sore every week playing that position? Then gave examples of how singleton and mullally accepti that getting hurt comes with the position. Thought it was a bit strange, oledzki runs it in like a train every time without any concern for his body, from what iv seen he's already more than accepted that he's a prop and the pitfalls that come with it.
On the game. Who were our players that impressed?

| Mikolaj is a tremendous prospect I've watched him in 16s and 19s but he won't play much for Leeds this season I don't think I can see him being loaned out to a Championship club again to develop further. He is still very very young and to play SL week in and week out at that position would do more harm than good long term.

How was he “on his way to Warrington” he clearly didn’t sign a contract with them, he may have received an offer, but that’s not unusual. Leeds did not back down to the request to only playing at full back, Walker will play wherever Brian McDermott selects him.
So to summarise, a player in high demand was offered a contract, it wasn’t accepted, he was then offered a better contract.

From what you've you've, I thought it was going to be McD taking a swipe, but I think what he said was fair. He's pretty much saying he's a young lad who is new to they game. Hes probably ready physically but he needs to develop mentally to play prop. Its what you'd expect of a young prop.

icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.:icons077e_files/5454-3678dentheman-msnicons.jpg |

Exactly GH may not be everyone's cup of tea but he is nobody's fool. To lose a talent of Walker's stature would have been folly indeed. I would suggest GH is more than a match for the ego-maniac that owns "show me the money"
