| Hull have been very good this year and I don't go with this running out of gas talk. They are a well balance side with a big effective go forward pack with smart half backs and are a real threat to whoever they play. It will be a very tough semi with the winner having every chance in the final.

| Agree with all that Juan.
With regards team selection I would go with Golding ahead of Walker and Ferres needs to be put through the mill this week to prove his fitness as we will need him against the Hull forwards.
Keinhorst should replace him if he isn't 110% fit

| I expect us to arrive at Headingley at full strength, fit, prepared and quietly confident.
Not sure about a spiteful forward battle? Is Burrow playing?

| Its a shame headingley is running at a reduced capacity for this. I feel this could easily have sold out.
What ever allocation Hull get they will sell out
Should be a great occasion.

| I think hull will do us. Kelly and sneyd will be the difference. The reason I think hull will win is because at their best they are better than us and they look to have got over the cc and are in perfect position to give their best.

| I wonder if GH is now regretting not delaying the SS demolition until after next weekend?

This and the extra £200k which it would have yielded

| Think this hull team are getting a bit over rated on here because of the cup semi. They were good that day and we were poor,if we'r that poor again they have every chance of beating us on friday, but i think if both teams are at or near there best then we'r the better team.
There's a reason they finished five points below us in the league. They're a big, solid side but nothing special imo

Still think we can win if we play McGuire and Burrow in the halves and they kick in behind their wingers successfully, they only really have shaul who can hurt us from deep so field position will be crucial.
Moon has been great but imo if a quality team with a big pack plays well we can't rely on his off the cuff play and are better off with a more controlled half.
Also I am a bit worried about Sutcliffe and Keinhorsts defence at centre in recent matches.

burrow wasn't the only player to get a ban though was he?
how many reds has watts had this year? 3? 4?
connor was a disgrace in that game. anyone needed a slap he did.
I've been impressed with hull this year. hull fans I know say they are either brilliant or rubbish. rarely anything inbetween. lets hope its rubbish on friday

Our problem has been that we have been far too inconsistent and lost games to dross like Leigh and Catalans at home. We all have rose tinted glasses when it comes to our own clubs, but I firmly believe that if Hull play their best rugby it is just too good for any team in this league. I don't think anyone can match the physicality and speed we play at when we get a roll on, and if Kelly is working his magic and Sneyd has the ball on a string it is so hard to stop.
Of course those perfect performances don't come around too often, and there's certainly no guarantee we will get it right against you on Friday, but I couldn't agree less with what you say about both teams at their best.
