| Feels like this season is at a tipping point to me and could go south in the next month.
Think this is a big game to keep the chasers away. Both Salford and Leeds have plenty still to do to make the 4 in my book. Hope confidence not badly damaged in cas game. Saints should be on a high after freak win.
2 most experienced leaders being banned is not good. Both seem to be flailing against their own waning powers. Agree with others that out of the 3 burrow looks to have more in the tank but if he is retiring, it is a good move whilst he still has something left. Hope in particular that McGuire retires this year. He has been a great player.
See ferres in for an op, not sure if this is longstanding injury but if so seems strange it has dragged on this long with him struggling to run properly. He could barely move when subbed at Widnes away. Cuthbo and parcell are also suffering from that game imo.
Think Myler will do us good. We need more signings. Hope to god it is dry, the thought of a wet ball and child reffing is giving me hives. Would love to see lilley have a big game but not an easy task being dropped into scrum half from spell at Bradford.

| Playing unfit players like Ferres is one of McDs worst issues, a fit young/junior player and full use of the bench should always be a better option.
When was the last time ferret was fit ? 2015?

| We're struggling to put a half decent 17 out there with the injuries we have.
certainly not helped by the likes of McGuire and JJB letting the team down.
Surely Oledeski or Hallas has to come in.
I'm also not confident Parcell and Galloway are 100% along with Cuthbertson who is getting flogged far too much to be effective.

| Let's see Walker start at 1 and see what he can do. We need Sutcliffe at centre.

| Walker really felt the impact of some tackles by Fev, the big Saints forwards could really hurt him.

You would think from respective results that Leeds should win. But I have said all along Leeds are where they are because of others failings rather than their own quality. Also said Saints would finish above us. I did always expect Saints to beat us anyway, and we will hit the slump that shows a truer reflection of where we are. Hopefully not, but if does happen the test is how quicly it can be fixed.

Still think you rate Saints far above what they actually are, which is a pretty dull and one dimensional side compared to what they were. They have one away victory since september last year and that was in Catalans. Saints also missing their best back in percival this week. We really should still fancy chances here, even with a few out, playing at home against an bang average team imo.

| Yeah Saints haven't done as well under the new coach as maybe expected. A W3-L2 record (all wins at home all losses away), couldn't beat Cas when Cas rested several starters and Saints didn't have to play the Monday and 2 home wins squeezed out at the death.

Actually, I think it is more a case of Leeds not in a true position, rather than rating Saints better than they are. I think they are a better side than us, and that's about as good as it gets for Saints. If I was one of their fans I wouldn't get giddy over that. Hopefully though Leeds will get their own act in order, and put on a display that can make that Saints away form you mentioned continue.

Saying that Printer nor could we beat a Cas team that was shot due to the heat only 5 days before in a cup game when we had a relatively easy game and 2 days more rest time.
