That is a big pat on the back to the coaches and the players but there has to come a time when reality kicks in'"

Could say exactly the same when we played Warrington, Shudds and Widnes.

Just remind me what was the score the last time these two teams played each other?

Based on that tangible evidence of who is the better side then you are correct in suggesting Leeds are a much better side - would you not agree?

Wakefield have a fair few injuries and like Wigan it doesn't always have an immediate effect. Players can 'take the slack' for a while but it does catch up.

We have to be in a position to take advantage of that and really we aren't making the most of our opportunity here.

You mean like when Tom Johnstone tore his ACL and has been replaced by Mason Caton-Brown: a player who is running in hat-tricks for fun? The Wakey injures won't make a difference, they have got quality players who are chomping at the bit to get into the starting 17 and have probably got a team spirit equal to, or perhaps even greater than, Castleford

I really hope the Leeds players and coaching staff are judging us on our performance at Headingley! They're in for one hell of a shock if they are!

I know some don't rate McDermott but he ain't daft...he said straight after that he knew we were way off it, and he'll know very well just how good we've been lately.

It's no good judging us on what we've been for he last decade either because we're light years ahead of that! Just like it's no good judging Leeds as they were 5 years ago because they're light years behind it..

We are where we are on merit...joint points with you just a few points goal difference behind...there is no immediate sign of anything changing either regarding injuries...this time last year we were ravaged and didn't have the depth...we were filing holes with players like Andy Yates and Jason Walton, no disrespect meant but our depth this year is on a different level...as going to Salford and turning over a very strong side over with 7-8 genuine 1st 17 players missing...this week 5 of those are chomping at the bit to get back in!

You may well come and turn us over, but have a little more respect at the superb job we've done in regards squad depth..

The thing is, you are where you are on merit, which is joint on points with us. The problem is we haven't been very good...

I hope it's warmer on Saturday. I've just been for my ticket, and had to wait 25 minutes for a bus. By the time it arrived I was frozen solid.

Such a shame that we'll end up nicking Tom Johnstone and Jacob Miller over the course of the next year or so.

You know what. I hope we smash Leeds just for these smug comments from a few of you fans. Cas used to be the team I'd like to see take a pounding but lately it's Leeds. While I'm sure the majority are normal fans there always seems to be smug entitled posts from a few suggesting a lowly team like Wakefield shouldn't be allowed to set foot near the quality of Leeds or improve and actually look like they may challenge this year.

I hope we put 50 past you.

Miller just signed a new deal, Tom Johnstone is signed up till end of 2020. I'm sure if you get your chequebook out then we might listen, but I doubt you'd pay what we'd be looking for.
