What type of fullback is Whitten gotcha,Is he especially quick? And do you not rate sam moorhouse? Seen he scored 2 trys against bradford the other day and it looked almost too easy for him? Cheers

Soz gotcha misread that.

Sam Moorhouse has definitely improved loads in the scholarship and is a big unit for his age but needs to keep working hard. I've seen him play more for stanningley and to me he sometimes went missing in games. Though as I say since in the scholarship has really stepped up. He also offloads for fun.

This time last week i was in a right stinker,we were rubbish in the semi,jack walker(who im convinced will be a star) looked to be leaving and i was concerned we'd lose at least one of our star scholarship players(brodbent,martin,johnston,holroyd) to the usual suspects.

A week later and we'v well beat wigan,kept walker and signed one of the best scholorship classes for years by all accounts...Added to the two signings for next year who im happy with and suddenly im pretty happy with how things are looking......Anyone else as fickle as me lol?

Don't Leeds sign one of their best scholarship classes every year? Only time will tell if this cohort progress any better than their many, many predecessors.

Agreed re Walker who has looked the part so far in 1st grade and would have been a significant and symbolic loss had it played out that surprising way.

Yeah we have a lot of good classes and we'v had a couple of mediocre ones aswel but this is one of the most highly rated ones for years. Obviously a lot can go wrong as talent alone dosnt gurentee anything but its exciting to be signing such highly rated lads than not

He's done good in his few games, half of them against lower league opposition but the above is pushing it a bit. Glad he's staying and hope he does well but let's not go OTT on him yet.

Aside from the performance on the field, a key fundamental that was clearly missing was any communication with subs by coaching staff when they went on the field. The culture there is not one id like to be part of, typified by a very unsavoury incident that happened on Saturday that lead to a leeds player being sent off and an air ambulance arriving for a warrington player (i hope hes ok) when the warrington staff called for support from the leeds bench a member of the leeds staff shouted "oi warrington youve got your own staff there what you using ours for?!" As the lads out cold clearly seriously injured. I was disgusted by it.

Sounds a bit grim.
Just watched the video and Leeds got taken to the cleaners until latter stages. I wondered if the announcement of the 12 being signed from under 16 had a negative impact on a fair few of that team, who might have been thinking or knowing they will be released.
