| After Hetherington's statement, it would appear that Leeds must win at least 2-3 of their next 4 games for Hetherington to retain his job. It is therefore in Leeds best interests to lose 50-0 to Catalans on Fri and then again to Wakefield. Hopefully by that point Hetherington will have had enough and will get rid. The sooner we can get rid of McNumb the better for Leeds and the earlier we can begin to turn the corner. It will be interesting how the players react on Friday, if they want McNumb to stay you would expect a fight or alternatively, we could see an equally embarrassing performance if they wish to assist his removal.

| I don't want Leeds to lose any game.
That's not to say that I don't want change (I do) however, watching Leeds bend over and ship 50 points just to prove a point doesn't really float my boat. Infact, I'd be more miffed at the players for running up the white flag.

That forward pack must have Le Frog's Legs quivering.
If the forwards can't get on top of the opposition then we have no hope.

I dont think there is much wrong with our staring pack, swap Ward in there and it is nearly first choice, it is our bench I am worried about, we could see a big drop at the 25 30 min mark.

I would have Galloway and Ferres as starters also were they fit.
I agree, the bench sucks and it's about getting a lead and hanging on in the periods we are forced to use the bench players if we are to a have any chance of getting a result.

Agreed a quick start is vital, if we start with some high energy in attack and defence then the crowd can get into it, but if we start slow I see a dull atmosphere after last weeks result.

But I suppose if we put Galloway, Ferres, Ward etc back in our bench would look OK.
At the minute though it does look pretty weak. The only one who is really holding his own is Ormondroyd.

| One thing he needs to avoid doing is changing the halves around mid game. For a team so badly lacking structure and direction this is doing the team no good at all. McGuire and Lilley for me with Burrow interchange 9, Sutcliffe at 13.
Also I understand that he wanted to drop Briscoe last week due to underperforming but with so many seniors out this plan should have been shelved.

And doing it away to the most potent team in the league too giving Handley his first start too seems like madness in hindsight, not that it would have changed the scoreline a great deal mind.
