Be interesting to see how Cas cope going into this game as handy favorites. I can't recall that happening during the SL era and certainly not in the last decade. There is a marked difference going into a derby when you are a plucky underdog with nothing really to lose (which Cas have always done well against us) as opposed to being the side that is expected to win.

For once we go into this with not too much expected of us, hopefully they can rise to the occasion.

We were 8 point underdogs at Wheldon road last year and we had 11 first teamers missing. I think the week before we hado been smashed 56 10 by Warrington. Think we were 6 point underdogs for the reverse fixture and luke gale was 10/1 to be motm .

Though I agree, I can't remember us being favourites for a game against leeds. I think it will be a tight game, decided in the last 10 minutes.

It was our interchanges second half that did it at our place though. Millington, McMeekan and Springer came on with about fifteen to go if I remember correctly.

So which ones Leeds start the game with is irrelevant then. It was 3 tries apiece, goal kicking and Leeds wasting a long break by Sutcliffe in the 2nd half were more the issue.
