Spot on. I understand people are curious and want to know the exact details of everything that goes on at the club but you just have to be patient and wait and see. I don't see any reason/benefit to putting information regarding contracts/potential signings/departures out in the public domain before they're finalised other than to please some fans curiosity.

The very fact he has been so good makes it more frustrating when we end up with garbage like Falloon & Achurch.
If you set the highest of standards in any kind of work/walk of life you will rightly be called out when those standards drop especially as they have in 2016.

For such a key position its amazing we have got by so well since 2011 when Buderus moved on. We have had McShane who never really fitted in. Lunt as a chance punt that came off for half a year, Aiton who ran hot through his last year but injured for key periods then the disaster that was Faloon. Burrow trying his best throughout of course. It is position we quite clearly have to get right and get some stability in from now or the team will not be able to get back to a position of strength again, we can't afford to be taking any more punts at the 11th hour and end up with mugs like Falloon. At least now we should know where we stand come September/ October.

No, Segeyaro is not a Penrith player or registered to them. Leeds may be paying some of Zak's wages.

The problem with the Segeyaro situation is that if he leaves at the end of the year we're right back where we were last year, scraping around the NRL bargain bins looking for a replacement. Whilst every NRL club has at least one hooker they're not all that good IMO - relatively poor ones include Lichaa at the Dogs, Mitch Rein (who has been mentioned a lot on here) and McInnes at the Rabbits.

As an aside a lot of our problems at hooker relate to Burrow. He's never a regular starting 9, but his presence and guaranteed bench spot means its difficult to justify signing a third hooker just on standby unless they can play second row or similar. Add to that his stature requiring defensive reorganisation that is less and less justified by the pluses he brings as his pace diminishes and its getting very hard from a pure playing perspective to justify him being in the squad.

Leigh are not allowed a youth set up because the're not in superleague and are not allowed to have a partnership with an amateur clubs also,that's why leigh miners are in partnership with Warrington

Concentrate on your own house. Because if you get promoted, you're in for a rude awakening next season. You won't be playing against 'damaged goods' Sl teams (teams that have taken a battering all season) whilst you are on the back of comfortably beating championship teams. The dynamic will be completely different in the week to week grind in comparison to the middle 8's, so don't let a few super league scalps in the middle 8's over inflate your sense of worth.
