If that was the team i would be quietly confident of us giving it a good go.Its obviously 6,7 and 9 where the question marks are but if we can keep it simple and man up we will be ok. We are clearly not favourites now and have been written off by most so again, i think that works in our favour. Current forecast for sunday is wet afternoon so a low scoring forward battle would also be another good thing, last thing we need is a dry track for Thurston to rip us apart on! (yes i know, he still may do so ) .

McDermott once surprised us all by starting Clarkson at DH with good success; Keinhorst would go even better I believe. He's a similar tenacious tackler who can hold his own in the middle, but who could probably do more offensively. Burrow (as is best) could come on from the bench to mix it up a little in attack.
Fingers crossed though that Faloon makes it

Think it's probably me who keeps suggesting Keinhorst to hooker mate for all the things you mention. Would also agree with the team you have put. Don't think Briscoe, Golding or Ablett will make it.

Minus Achurch and swap with Walters and that's the squad. You've got to wonder what Achurch has to do, gets called back and not even playing.

| I'm quite surprised Walters is ahead of Achurch in the pecking order at Leeds, makes you wonder why he's kept around!

Right... so...
Leeds have home advantage, cold and damp playing conditions, two SL games under their belt and an English referee armed with English SL-esque refereeing interpretations and you're still not happy?

Have you been living on the moon William ? Silverwood always ar**holes around the Aussie teams reffing by their interpretations. Don't expect any different on Sunday. I will be taking a sick bag with me in case Silverwood's ar**holing gets too sickly for me.

No. We're not in regular contact, and he doesn't tell me what opinions to express on a forum.
Why do you ask?

If an Aussie referee had been appointed, you'd think it was unfair. You get an English referee and you still think it's unfair. Short of insisting all the Cowboys players play with a ball and chain attached to their legs, is there anything else which could possibly assuage your concerns of bias against Leeds?

Gary Hetherington spent several years and several trips down under negotiating this extended WCC tournament. It's his baby and it's his formulation which you were being so critical of and flippant towards in response to Rogues Gallery earlier.
Good to see. Well done.

have to agree with you here, nationality of the ref is of little relevance in my opinion. Only on the international stage do i believe we need/have to have a neutral in charge.
