Why? Have you got a proper reason? Or are you one of those who thinks Ferres will s*ag your wife too? Too much Jeremy Kyle son

Although it's pretty clear he was meaning as a player, rather than as a "pleyyyer". He even added "don't use the shagging Huby's missus" argument. While that doesn't take the affair off the table it does explain why the OP is in a bit of a steam.

| But as a player only is a no-brainer. He's probably better than any of our current backrowers. This thread would be very dull on that basis.
I don't dismiss cheating that easily, and can fully understand why some don't want him at the club, and also the fact that its more than likely that he or Huby has to leave Hudds (BTW not only has this happened but its also been publicised to the world, which must make it worse).
Having said that I'd go with what senior players think.

| Link on the Warrington board says the deal to Roosters fell through because Hudds wanted a player on loan in return so would we be prepared to do that? Achurch maybe?

| You've got to feel for Huddersfield in all this. They're very unlikely to get anything like what they'd want for Ferres as he's clearly marked "Fire sale" and virtually every team in NRL and SL will have their squad (and cap) close to finalised for next season. A player-swap would seem to be the best they could get right now.

Some people on here amaze me. Just because he's had it away with Mrs Huby, doesn't mean he's going to make a b-line for your missus. Paranoia or what?'"
F-All to do with paranoia their team-mate Huby has been shat on by someone else in their "team" of course it effects them or do you think none of them get on at all?
If it didn't effect them why would they speak out and call for Ferres to be gone?
Either way i doubt we'll be seeing Ferres in a Leeds shirt anytime soon and im happy about that.

Mmm...I suspect that deal would be fraught with complications. Respective wages of the players for a start, questions re whether Hudds would want Ferres playing for a rival, whether Achurch would want to play for Hudds, or whether Hudds would be tempted by a player with the track record of injuries and poor form of Achurch for a start. Don't see it happening myself.

| Ferres is most definitely a no brainer but he is a great Second Rower, and we should be looking to sign him at the Rhinos. Nothing else matters apart from Playing Ability. People moaning about him kn0bbing a lass in his own time should dismount that very high horse.

| With Ward out until May and JJB potentially a while away also, this is a signing I think we need.

| Ferres is under contract until 2019 at Giants. Likely to be be on pretty high wages given one of their best players. can't see Anderson going for. A church as a 1 year loan swap and I can't see Leeds going for it either. The benefit he could bring for 1 year has to be weighed up versus the spirit in the camp. I get the points that players don't care etc who they line up with but when Leeds made those type of signings in the past - the team did not win trophies. There is a lot we don't know and at end of day I trust gh will make right call either way. Leeds have lost key leaders and now not right time to risk any distractions for 1 year of a better 2nd row forward imho.

| True they might not be interested in Achurch, that was just a name I threw out there as an obvious expendable departure for Leeds. However Hudds have to be realistic here. At this time of year with squads sorted then what quality of player do they expect to get on loan in return? No one is going to release one of their best starting second rowers (or any starter) at this point for a controversial signing.
