He has been around a long time and never been thought capable by his bosses to ref a game this big , in fact he has been a rare sky live game ref and for good reason .'"
Stop your cry @rseing you big tart.

| You are correct Hicks let far too much go last Friday. It was the players who made that an exciting game.
We all complain when we see the dross that is served up when games are refereed like that.
If he does the same this week. Especially with how saints play with there big forwards and confidence to give away a penalty and defend from a set position, there will be the usual faces decrying how terrible he was this week and how good he was last week when he won't have changed at all.

| I really don't like this prop at loose forward stuff that is all the rage. Good genuine loose forwards who run and pass equally well are a sight to behold and I fear they're dying out in the modern game to get extra go forward because of unreliable props.

| not had one decision all night. and why did Percival not have to go off for 15 minutes after being out cold?
also when ablett 'scored' the ref said he had seen the ball on the ground. so why didn't he give it then?
on a Leeds note who came up with the tactic of not running at Walsh??? he's a terrible defender and after an hour looks as fresh as a daisy .
kept going and full credit but need to play far better attacking wise next week. glad the boys have an 8 day rest as JP looks shot

I think the occasion got to JP; massive workload etc, getting stuck in, too many tackles, burnt himself out. I was dreading him being anywhere near the ball.
In contrast, Sir Kev - the turning point in the game with the 40/20.
Huge credit to Mitch Garbutt and Jimmy Keinhorst; the latter was absolutely solid. Joel Moon is a hugely under valued player for us

| Weirdly never at any point thought we were going to lose that. Kept taking the wrong option on 6th tackle or near their line, but only a matter of time before we got it right.
Pack all solid, Burrow the best of our creative players despite Saints being offside all match, Sinfield's 40-20 and Hardaker's one-on-one tackles key, but I'd give MoM to Joel Moon - different level both on attack and defence.
