Basically giving Leeds little/no credit, that Watkins try was a basic training ground move that should've easily been shut down by Saints, that the ref benefitted Leeds with ruck calls and obstruction calls, and that he's treating the whole thing as a learning experience for his "kids and juniors".
In short he's the polar opposite of both Brian McDermott and Tony Smith who showed their class again this weekend.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

| Morning all.
Just wanted to congratulate you guys on your win against us in the semi final. You're a fine side with way too much 'know-how' for most, especially us I fear, in big games.
I never felt it was really in doubt, even when we made it 18-14 and in truth, felt it again should have been finished in the opening 30 minutes. Saints need to amend their approach if we're to trouble you come Play Off time.
Congrats again anyhow. Somewhat fitting that the likes of Peacock and Sinfield will get the chance to go out at Wembley and possibly OT. Befitting of such players.

| A lovely review of Headingley from a jubilant Wire fan
Quote: TF and the wire ""Headingley best ground in superleague" you're havin a larf, aintcha. It's garbage. Large sections of the ground open to the elements. even the new Carnegie stand. Main stand has wooden cramped seating. Bottlenecks at the corners for species trying got get to their places.
Outside their are few facilities, poor rail link, poor road link to the motorway. Absolute dump of place, and that's not just cos we got beat today'"

| Didn't even know Warrington took any fans to the game, looked and sounded like a HKR home game with the crowd.

What I say on my forum is that without the offloading game or with it somehow nullified you would be an ordinary team [ilike the rest of us
[/i
Hardly an insult.
As I said the best team won !

| Quote: Sherbert Dip "I don't give a feck about whining coaches like Cunningham when we beat em. Makes it more sweet
Double movement for their try, but Child bottled overturning the decision. Not surprised though. He's useless on the pitch, on the touch and in the VR seat, and the RFL will defend bad decisions to the hilt.
Feck em though...Leeds are in the final. They're our beetches
According to the BBC Cunningham said:
"I was disappointed with the start. We probably gave Leeds a little bit too much respect.
"I could see the players were gassed but I knew, if we were within a score or two at half-time, we would be in with a shot.
"We came out really well in the second half and at 18-14, the game was on, but we made the misread on Watkins, which was down to poor attention to detail, and it ended up costing us."
Not exactly insulting to Leeds. Personally I didn't think the Sav try was a try but the VR gave it.

Thanks. In fairness Saints weathered the storm incredibly well and no doubt they have the talent to score scinitillating tries too. Walmsley, Saveliio and of course Roby are class; Percival will be too. Watching the game back I have to say Percival's first try was as good as anything else I've seen this season (apart from the unbelievable Peacock try of course). I wouldn't swap Hardaker for any other SL FB, but on attack there can be no doubt he could not create a try like Quinlan did there. Two on 4 and still your team scored. Brilliant play.
