i'm also looking forward to seeing how much cuthbertson can improve us this season as he certainly adds something that we havn't seen since ali
anyone have any concerns about zak and his non appearances in the pre season games thus far?

| Thought McGuire was ok today tbh. Personally don't think anybody was outstanding, nor was anybody poor. Kinda 7/10 across the board with a few maybe 7.5/10. It was clearly noticeable the guys who have had more game time against the ones who have had less in terms of their sharpness.
Think it'll be the same 13 vs HKR with Hardaker in for Golding if everything is ok with him and then going off how much game time they were given today then a bench of Burrow, Singleton, Leuluai and Achurch (Delaney if fit).

| Bit too much Harlem Globetrotters in the first half from Leeds, pushing unnecessary passes but still some good signs and a nice pace and directness to the game.
Soon as Burrow came on, completely disappeared. His constant running into the space of the first receiver and inability to just deliver the pass straight from the PTB really holds the team back.
I said earlier that I worried Leeds would lose the pace and intensity to their attack with the "golden triangle" of Sinfield/Burrow/McGuire were all together, and today was evidence of that.
Thought Cuthbertson ran some excellent lines and showed good hands in the first half. Ward looked a threat with his footwork and Golding looked solid but got a lot less good ball in attack than he did with McGuire and Sutcliffe in the halves on Boxing Day. If today is the benchmark of what a "full strength" Leeds can produce, then I can't see a top four finish this season. A good Cup run might be needed to save the season again.

| On that performance I fear a long hard season ahead, seems to me that we have learned no lessons from last years end of season debacle, no skill involved, 2 painfully slow half backs, Burrows and Aiton offering nothing from dummy half and some forwards well past their sell by date. hope I am wrong.

| Just got back and in my opinion today was a game of 2 halfs. We were good at times in the first half as well as Bradford being poor and the 2nd half we didn't quite going like how we can and Bradford stepped up their game a bit. I agree with the earlier post of the player ratings everyone gets a 7 from me too. I thought Ward was excellent he's sure got a lot of potential to be a star for us. Golding had a decent game as too did Cuthbertson, his offloading was decent IMO. We've got to improve as a whole of course for the start of the season and I am sure we will get there.
11,608 was a very good turnout today absolutely well played to ourselves and Bradford fans who came in good number today.

When Bradford were 'threatening' a comeback with two tries at the start of the 2nd half.....Bradford fans singing "Are you Chelsea in disguise?".....quality

| I enjoyed the match but I have no idea what can be taken from it as it is next years championship opposition. Thought most were solid with not many stand outs. I like the look of Cuthbertson he has a good offload and seems to make decent yards. I liked the look of Stevie ward but pray he can stay in one piece. Also I was just wondering Hardaker was ill but where was Sutcliffe? I'm looking forward to the first match against KR but I have no idea what we will be like.

| I was impressed by the courage of Goulding. He's not a big lad by any means but he didn't shirk any of the high balls today, despite some heavy traffic.
I really hope Stevie Ward can have a decent run free of injuries.

Well he played on afterwards but he clearly wasn't happy with the Bradford player that was involved in the tackle that saw him limping when he got up, was it an ankle twist by the Bradford defender?

| 6.5/10 first half 4/10 2nd half imo.
Cuthbertson ,Golding and Ward were stand outs for me and when they got the ball Watkins and Briscoe looked sharper as a pairing.
Whilst we still have 2 weeks of pre-season to go we were very flat in that second half & the HB's very slow with their distribution imo.
Of course numerous changes didn't help but i did see last years laboured predictability rear its head more than once.
Loads to work on for both sides but for todays visitors they'll be lucky to get anywhere near Leigh unless they seriously improve.
Re-Zak i'm begining to wonder myself what exactly is wrong and i'm also at a loss why his rumoured new deal hasn't been announced!
