BJB for Aiton + a lot more......these two don't compare in value to a team, BJB is proven top level, Aiton no

| I'd much rather we offered BJB to Huddersfield in exchange for Lunt.

The problem with the "exchange BJB for Lunt" thing is, nobody knows if Hudds even want a FB. This only came about because Gotcha said he remains unconvinced by Grix, Anderson may well be very happy with his current FB.
And that is what might hamper a move away from Headingley for BJB, his insistence to play FB. If he was happy to play wing then I'm sure others would be more than happy to bid for him......BJB as FB though, if I was a coach in SL I wouldn't be as sure about that.

| Big of a convoluted tale but my mate said he was speaking to someone who has a very good source close to the team who said BJB is speaking to Salford. Not nailed on but speaking to them got it 3rd hand at least but you never know. Milk mr cukash for some big bucks and buy a quality hooker.

Aiton is worth far more to Wakefield than BJB is. Aiton could be deadly in a team like Leeds but to let one of our toughest, hardest tackler and one of the best attacking asset we have by a country mile go in exchange for BJB would be silly from a Wakey perspective.
We don't have much in the way of classy players at wakefield and worth some coin but in Collis, Aiton and Kirmond we have players that would add to any team in SL.

| Rumour that Poore is homesick and wants to go back to Aus. If that happened will you keep Aiton or has a deal already been agreed with GH?

| I can't see Hetherington doing a player swap, just don't think it's his style to trade players. It has the potential to upset players.

| Yeah Aiton worth more to Wakey than Rhinos, not much better than what we have already! Kirmond would be the only good addition from Wakey in this player swap thing that may be going on.

| People are obsessed with Kirke being part of a player swap simply because they don't like him.
The chances of that happening are zero, some dreaming and get over it.

Moon was also allegedly "homesick" before the Rhinos made a move for him.
Not that I personally would wish to see Poore at the Rhinos.

实事求是!: |
|
| Ian Kirke was recruited in 2006 from obscurity and has played in each of leeds last 5 grand final wins.
Is he one of the best bargain signings leeds have ever made?

To determine bargain, would be value for money rather trophies a team wins.
Nobody knows how much he is on to determine value, it's all guesswork. But if he is not below mid range in the salaries then his two good performances per year won't be anything close to bargain level.
Was he a good find from obscurity? Well that's a different argument and probably one more would agree on.
