| Probably the wrong thread to ask this but why were Watkins and JJB played.?
It was obvious in the warm up neither were fit.
JJB was injured before half time and you were down to 16. Watkins looked very vulnerable and could have copped an injury anytime from 1-80, that would have been 15.
Who would have started in their place?
Also wouldn't they have been less of a risk and been able to contribute more for the team?

Not bitter at all,but why didn't we get all this last year ?and of course 2011 there was a lot of crowing about how Wigan were going to win SL again and again and again etc.well we all know what happened don't we?

I wish I had been around then. Us Trinity fans (in my day) have been called a lot of things.
Unfortunately arrogant hasn't been one of them

| Leeds have had the last laugh 6 times in the last 9 year, as a fraction that's 2/3rds or 66.6r%
The laughing policeman didn't even laugh that much.
Sure wish I'd been in that position, I'm currently one of those white clowns with a little black tear painted tear painted on my cheek.

Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.

Historically thats very true especially amongst the Leeds, St Helens and Bradford fans. Of the 15 years of superleague: Champions to date
Leeds 6 times
St Helens 4 times
Bradford 3 times
.
.
.
Wigan 2 times
So of the 15 years of superleague Wigan have won 2 out of 15. May I suggest the Wigoon fans see there team win it for the next 4 years and then there "last laugh "mindset is more justifiable.

You forgetting the other major honour available and the other 100+ years of Rugby League?
Another peni5 measuring contest
It was a great contest, Leeds gave it their all very heroic performance, it was clear they were tired. We suffered the same last year. Great atmosphere, Leeds will be back and in the mix next year no doubt. Great club, commiserations.

| Just like some of the Wire fans who've posted, I offer some genuine congratulations from Lancashire for what I'd say was yet another good season for your club.
As a Widnes fan I was unfortunately blessed with being able to watch much of the last 10 Super League seasons from a relatively neutral viewpoint (that being the Championship!) and your club have been a great advert for the sport for a decade now. In 2003 I was watching highlights of one of the early rounds with a mate who's Union through and through (he was a scouser so didn't grow up on the sport) and he was keen to get into watching League. He'd adopted the pie-eaters that season and was asking me who I rated. I remember saying that although Bulls and Saints had been the dominant clubs, the way Leeds had started to play together that year had me thinking they could be the next big thing and if they retain the youth players they brought through they could dominate for years to come. You didn't win that year but they way in which your team proved me right has been an achievement the whole city should be proud of. As 6 times champions, and in the manner you did it in encapsulates what is so good about the play-off system, sheer excitement every year. Your players and club have been great for the sport both on and off the field and although I always support the Lancashire team against you (unless it's Wire of course!) you are and continue to be one of the great clubs this sport has produced.
I wanted Wigan to win and I'll want them to win the final but even if they do no one should fail to recognise Leeds Rhinos' consistent high achievements.
