We have this innovative and pioneering system at Headingley where all the seats have a number and the rows have a letter. Unbelievable I know!
When you buy a ticket for a seated stand for a non league game, your ticket has the row AND seat number on it - this is where you sit. Genius.
I honestly believe that this system could catch on, we could call it something fancy like the "Allocated Seating" system. This thing could have legs you know. |

Don't be ridiculous, can you imagine boarding a Ryanair flight with "allocated seating", why it would be almost orderly. |

We were in the Britainnia Stand with our ‘Un-reserved’ tickets. I thought the best view would be somewhere near the half way line but when we tried to enter the stand from the concourse we were told that Leeds fans had to go to the far end.
I tried to point out to the steward that we had un-reserved tickets but she said that Leeds fans were only allowed in one specific part of the stand.
Why does what it say on your ticket have no relationship to where you actually end up sitting?
Why..??? The words p[sizei[/sizess-up and brewery spring to mind.

Just an interest add on, was told on my ticket the gates open 75 minutes before kick off, got there 80 minutes before kick over with hundreds off other Leeds supporters to be made to stand in the rain till 60 minutes before they opened the gates. Asked a steward what was going on, to be told "Not my problem". There good turn out by Leeds supporters I would say 7000 of the ground were Leeds, pity about the game
