And speaking of the KR fans, their extedned ovation for the ref when he gave a forward pass against us was very funny. Well done to them. Go big or go home. They went big.'"
It was funny the first time. Not the fourth or fifth time though.

It's actually called Headingley Carnegie Stadium?

| Well im glad you all came, without away fans the game would be nothing! Leeds deserved to win in the end! (come on we were hard done to) I hope by next year you can go into the new stand, but the state of RL at the minute whether WE HKR will be about is debatable. Well done Leeds and big up to all the fans who came knowing a s%it view was in order!

| Can we leave the view alone know? Clearly the club know it's an issue, and there is actual building work going on, with real building materials, rather than the artist's impressions that pass for stadium development for some clubs....

So basically they've got a cr*p ground, cr*p team, cra*p coach and thousands of £ debt. All this aside, what have they got to be depressed about? After all, they only lost the match because Kevin Wingefield was telling the ref. what to do all match...

Don't think you'll find anyone who thinks we lost due to Sinfields whinging, TBH he never had to the ref managed to be that rubbish unassisted.
Leeds were far superior in almost every department but the ref spoiled what was turning into a good game with some baffling and inconsistent calls. Looked like a rabbit in headlights at times.
For me that Leeds team is the best player for player team in the league, Wigan might be ripping it up at the moment but the experience and talent on show will come good in the end and I can see another title heading your way.

Can never understand this with some fans. Sure if you had been hard done to, but you wasn't. You had an 8-2 penalty count in your favour in the second half, following on from an even 1st half count.
Sure there were one or two questionable forward passes from Leeds, although can't say directly resulted in a try. But the same happened with Rovers also, and the Patterson try was a clear forward.
Not sure what the moaning is for to be honest.

Only if you consider a 6 to 1 (or 6 to 2 if you use Opta) 1st half count in Leeds' favour as even.
Penalty sequence to : L, H, L, L, L, L, L (H-T) L, H, H, H, H, L, H, H, H, H

Seems about right. Score was 10-6 to Leeds, around the 30 min mark, one of the only times we actually managed to get Leeds short outside, brilliant handling from us to set Eden through the gap, ill stand corrected if wrong (always do) but we got pulled for crossing/obstruction. No-one from Leeds complained (which is a surprise ), yet was given. Eden was 'likely' to score in the corner, say likely as he was still 20 out but at pace should have scored, thats 10-10, Leeds go down the field and score after getting another penalty further down the field, after that Leeds scored once more before the break, maybe twice, hard to keep count lol.
The penalty count is either very damning or clearly backs up the whole point, officials ALWAYS even it up, will not apologise for that one. Some of the penalties we got at the back end of the game were also laughable. Im not one of these who bashes the referee and cannot accept when we get one our way. Paterson's try was off a forward pass, Leeds had one, maybe 2 that were forward (in the end that doesnt matter as much, all referee's miss them).
What bugged me the most. Offsides, you got pinned (i believe our only penalty first half?) was for you not standing square near your line. other than that we got done for offside in the first half, possibly rightly so, the irony is Leeds spent most of it offside. Dont get me wrong, if i was coach id push the boundries, why not? until you get pinned for it, why not? if the referee is allowing you to be a full foot infront of him (literally in front of him) then why would you go back the full 10? You can see why its frustrating, hence why when he gave a forward pass and offside he got the reason he did second half, way out of his depth, got little help from the idiots out wide also.
With that being said, Leeds easily deserved this win, with a few less mistakes we could have been watching easter monday vs wigan again, this time we seemed to put up a bit more of a fight of it, just ran out of steam again. Your defence was key, the outside backs played a key part in coming further up on the umbrella line to prevent us going wide at all. Big praise for sustaining that all game. Well played, just think you'd get a ton more praise had the man in the middle being consistent.

Give it a rest. You'll have a brand new stand to sit in that will provide a view that is on a par or better then every modern stadium in the league next year. Apologies that it wasn't ready for your visit but the main thing is that we realise where we need to improve and are addressing those issues.
