| Massive improvement on last week not least in terms of desire with and without the ball.
We are still bombing trys and giving too many cheap penalties but we dug in and got the win.
Fair play to Wigan youngsters they got stuck in and never gave up making it a tough game.

A win against Wigan will always be gratefully received. Mainly bacause it means no tsunami of bullcrap from their much feared "Ultras".

| We're still carrying Vickery despite a fine win tonight. Champion teams don't have passengers. While I want him to come good I fear he's nowhere near experienced or good enough for super league generally let alone rhinos.

Agreed. Can't help thinking he singled him out though as you can hear Silverwood complaining to Sinny after he converts JJBs try about JP. JP said something to Silverwood just before about a high shot on him going unpunished. Keef was right about him!

| Let's hope Charnley doesn't play in the WC - his defence is woeful and hasn't improved any since he first came into SL

| Hope ablett is ok. Don't like the tackle technique that was used to injure ablett. Two up top one round the legs as he is stationary a 4th person steams into the exposed rib area and the attacker is just a sitting duck. For me I would like to see the RFL crack down on this

It's very early in the season but would be a fair shout. The type of player you need in your team. Works his socks off doesn't take a backwards step and you can tell every week he is giving his all 100%

| Should've won by more but messed up chances, but unlike in 2011/12 when it seemed like most games we were saying ''the forwards were beaten'', we're doing better in that department in 2013, helped by an extended pre-season for Peacock.
Now we need to start clicking in finishing off good field positions, this will surely improve when we have serious threats on both sides of the pitch.
The right side defence is still a worry....and it's not just Vickery's fault. Ablett going off suggests a problem which might rule him out at least next week which would require a further rejigging of the backs. Hardaker I believe was ruled out for a month with his injury and he's now missed 4 weeks so I wonder if he'll be in contention for next weekend.
Great efforts from Delaney (again) and Hall (again).
Can't stand Silverwood at all, and also I don't know how the VR took so long on the Moon try. Even Clarke said it was a try quite quickly (although with great sadness in his voice).

BMcD agreesI've got to mention Brett Delaney for the way puts himself about. If we could put 13 Brett Delaneys on the field, we wouldn't lose many games because he runs his blood to water.'"

Himself, Peacock and Hall are certainly the early front runners IMO.
