Whilst the rest of us have to pay full prices for tickets this scrounger probably takes the Rhinos for all they've got.

The highlighted part above - I can empathise with that - particularly if you're all sat together and possess an emotional group attachment to some form of ownership and utilisation of the same group of seats at every home game. But apart from that? There is absolutely no need for a season ticket. Getting out on a Friday night, meeting friends, having a few beers, a catchup and discussing the game does not require a season ticket purchase. You can do all that without having to purchase a season ticket.

I can't justify purchasing one for the following reasons: 13 games for the price of 11 isn't a money-saving incentive. I'd miss at least 2 games and probably more due to holidays, work commitments, last minute changes in scheduling due to Sky TV demands. Of the 13 home games, at least half I'm not interested in attending due to the poor standards of the SL opposition. I'd rather attend a meaningful game where Leeds play well against credible opposition even if they lose, as opposed to Leeds tossing it off, playing crap and winning against moderate and rubbish teams in a meaningless game. In recent years, I've also lost interest in games against credible SL rival opposition because the results and performances in those games are no longer critical - in fact, they have also become stale and meaningless. A season ticket fails on both a quantitative and qualitative level providing little of value.

I'll be giving SL fixtures a huge swerve as I've done for several seasons - not enough provision of value or meaningfulness. It'll only be a meet-up with friends which may persuade me to otherwise attend one or two. My purchases to date are tickets for the WCC and the World Cup Final via the RFL - the free World Cup beanie hats have already arrived. Will attend a large number of World Cup fixtures and the CC Final. Strong possibility of attending a few NRL and/or Origin games down under next year too. Then there's amateur grass roots games - that'll do me.

If the likes of you (and there's many freeloaders) contributed fully like everyone else to our great club then we'd be able to afford better players and the south stand would have been renovated years ago.

But no the club don't listen to the real fans who want such schemes stopped and instead pander to the likes of you who's bleeding Leeds Rhinos dry.
