I feel privelleged to have seen those two wingers that complemented each other so well ......but wish I could have also seen Hynes and Shoebottom in their playing days. My late father constantly raved about them...nearly as much as he did about Lewis Jones. |

Lewis Jones was my boyhood idol,his hanging pass to Colin Evans,his split second acceleration,there werent any round the corner kickers in those days,so wne he kicked from the touchline he only took two backsteps.Shoey and Hynes no one messed with them.Shoey used to roughem up in every tackle and they spent the rest of the game trying to hurt him,but he could take it.
