Your odds are pitched to attract a level of business, nothing more - its why odds move around depending on the level of exposure to risk or underselling of the event that the profitable bookmaker feels he has - it has little or nothing to do with what may or may not happen during any specified event.

| At Outlaws we're running a coach down for the CC final for the first time, which will be a real laugh. I'm thinking though that if Leeds get there it'll ruin the day for me a bit

I'll be there on November 5th for sure... you?'"
Don't actually seem to have been away from the place this year!
FA Cup semi final followed by FA Cup win followed by Charity Shield followed by Challenge Cup Final followed by double header on Nov 5th.
Only support I football team and Rhinos and the last year when I watched them both play at Wembley was 1999! not writing Cas off as it will be a hard match.
That Sinny lifts that cup and that at least we turn up if we get there. Last year we didn't even manage to sing "Marching ON ..." and it was a horrible day
One step at a time though and I know everybody will give Cas the respect they deserve.

| Quote: Keith Swiftcorn "I wasn't aware there was a competition going on for the best come back. Not interested anyhow. I just deal with reality.
Leeds are an ordinary team this year. Fortunately for them, Castleford are whipping boy rabble (just like Hull FC). That's why Leeds are off to Wembley again and Castleford are just making up the Semi Final numbers.
You may have noticed the celebratory Leeds dressing room immediately after they were aware of who they'd drawn in the Semi Final? I certainly did. Their collective expressions had 'Wembley' written all over them.'"
I have to say, it's sometimes a pleasure to see a master at work.

| Good to see Keith can still have an effect on visitors from other clubs. It's been a while since I've seen him trolling someone other than Leeds fans.
I was pleased with the draw. Not that I think Cas will be easy, just that I think they'll be easier than Wigan or Stains. I'm sure Cas thought exactly the same about us.
I think we [imight[/i well get to Wembley again, where we will be massive underdogs. Anything can happen in a one-off game, but you'd have to say that the winners are likely to be the winners of the othewr semi really. Both the weekend games on the tellybox were entertaining, but there was a huge difference in the quality.
I might well pop down to Wembley again whoever is there (dead easy from here) and certainly intend to go down for the 5th November. I'm excited about that one. We'll probably get a beating, but I've never been to an international at Wembley.

To be fair, I imagine the Cas players reacted in exactly the same way.
It wasn't so much who Leeds drew, it was avoiding Wigan and Saints. Same goes for Cas.

To be honest, on their season form, they would have probably preferred either Saints or Wigan over us.

Lovely theory, but not completely true. Compilers and traders are well paid for a reason and will be prepared to be more exposed on some events than others.
I reckon Leeds will be giving Cas a 6-8 point start in the match.

Your not wrong there
My Cas supporting work colleagues were in the corporate section [i<a scruffy run down bar inside the ground
TBF its the ideal draw for both clubs, if we were offered a semi final against Cas at the start of the season for a place at wembley would we be happy? Too bloody right we would be
Are Cas happy at meeting an under performing Rhinos side that has lost 10 games so far this season and are currently below them in the league table for the first time in god knows how long? Too bloody right they are
