Someone knows who the fan or fans were and should do the right things and report them for it. We have enough problems on field without this. Really makes our club look bad when fans start booing a silence to show respect for the people that fight for our country.

did hear a small noise but in the Carnegie and around as usual the silence was impeccable , there was one or two just coming in who didn't realise why everything was quiet but soon hushed.

unfortunately some of the racists were stood near me & Andy at the back of the SS. All 15 year olds without two braincells to rub together. We shut them up when we could.

This thread is ridiculous. From where I was stood the minutes silence was observed impeccably. There was one murmur that came from the ss followed by one bloke that asked them to show some "f'in respect". Other than that heard nothing, not a thing.

I was stood on about the 20m line toward the Western Terrace in the South Stand and heard no racism whatsoever. There was some rumblings during the minutes silence which I assumed was some kids being idiots and most of the noise seemed to be from people telling them to stfu. There was also a noise when one bloke shouted too early, thinking the minutes silence was over as soon as the marines band started again.

99.9% of people seemed to observe the silence impeccably from where I was anyway.

During the silence there was somebody kicking off downstairs . Was probably having a go at the stewards for not letting him up the stairs . The people shouting for them to shut up made more noise . Obviously the people downstairs were not aware that there was a minutes silence going on . I didn't hear any booing . There wasn't (as far as I am aware ) any chant of 'Town full of 'Asians' . There were similar ones that I heard , but they definitely didn't mention any ethic group . 'Small town near Pudsey' was one of the ones I heard . I was surprised to not hear 'I'd rather be a rhino than a Bull'.
I was stood about 8 steps down directly in front of the band as usual .

No one booed! Someone was talking or mumbling as I couldn't decipher it, which lead to someone shouting 'Throw him out' and someone else shouting 'Show some <expletive deleted> respect'. 3 people out of over 18,000.
I wouldn't get on your high-horse as your 'football nobs' tried to attack Nothampton fans at the end of the last game of the season the other year after they had observed the minutes silence for the Fire Disaster victims and purchased T-shirts to benefit the Burns Unit at BRI ,a large quantity of which ended up being thrown onto the pitch in disgust! Remember?
I also seem to remember another last game of the season against Notts Forest having the minutes silence disrupted far worse than Friday night by City fans in the Kop. I know - I was there!
