| i respect disko for his service to the club, he did well for us but tbh i wasnt to bothered that he went as i feel he was one of the players who best days are behind him, i clapped him tonight, but some fans feel he jumped ship, and you can kind of see why they think that, he was very unhappy when buderus was signed and decided to go at the end of his testimonial season, i kind of think he may have gone in 2009 had it not been his testimonial in 2010.

I remain to be convinced that Leeds really wanted Diskin at all, or Donald for that matter.
Booing a player who should be remembered as a club legend and left on decent terms is a fairly big deal IMO.

Just out of interest, which other game(s) are you referring to? Can't think off the top of my head. We haven't been in touching distance of most games by that stage!

Wouldn't you want to jump a sinking ship? You can't blame him.

I'm glad we learned from the wigan game. With less than a minute to go, we couldn't stop them marching downfield to score and level the game. Last week proved we are better than that now.

Ah, the game saving penalty concession which stopped Wigan walking over our line on the next tackle. That really is clutching at straws to make a point - don't often agree with Jeff but it does sound quite "agendaish!"

it's easy for the opposition to gain penalties due to our inability to get either square at marker or onside. Tonight we saw a great example of this when the Bulls ran 4 consecutive tackles at Peacock meaning he eventually was unable to get square at marker and got pinged for a 2 pointer.
i am no sure we were watching the same game on this point because wat i seen standing in the south stand was bradford players stepping to the side off the mark and getting away with it im not blameing ganson either because we have become so inept in attack as well as indisiplined in defence and wrap that up with a coach that hasnt got a clue then you have a team in freefall or headless chickens after the half time team talK

Fans - booing Diskin before the game was a disgrace. A man who has won 4 Grand Finals, given 10 years great service and arguably been pushed out of the door deserves a hell of a lot more respect. Fair play to Disko for acknowledging the SS after the game albeit briefly.
Fans 2 - Making noise during the minutes silence is bad enough. Shouting from the back of the stand that people are cocks for doing just makes it a hell of a lot worse. What do they hope to achieve
'"
I agree with both of them, but I hope that people don't tar all Leeds fans with the same brush. 99.9% showed respect to people who have given their lives, the few ar$eholes that didn't should be banned.
Disko had a good game tonight, and even if there were a couple of controversial moments, I'd hope that most of you wouldn't boo.
I will never boo JP, and there are still a few fans who will chant Judas at him, but for the service he gave the Bulls, I'll always applaud him.

| Maybe it's the fact he went to Bradford, if he'd gone elsewhere people wouldn't bat an eyelid, go to your fierce rivals and some people can't take it.

Maybe so, but Scruton doesn;t get booed by Leeds fans. JP doesnt get booed by most Bulls fans.
Maybe its the fact that most Leeds fans are deep down disappointed to see him go, afterall it was 12 years at the club wasn't it?
But on a serious note, I'm sure most of the fans do appreciate what Diskin did for Leeds.

| The booing wasn't all that bad. It maybe increased a bit following his head shot, but it's not as if he's poor wee Samikins, is it?

I'm with you on this one.
I contributed more than a few quid to Matt's testimonial fund and no doubt aided with his property business venture.
No sooner had he banked my hard earned in his current account and he announces he's off.
I'm not disputing his contribution to the success of Leeds in recent years and thank him for this but as it stands now he's just another opposition player and should be treated as such.

| Disco went for a longer deal that guaranteed his future beyond the leeds offer simple as that who wouldnt ? He would not have made any difference tonight as the players we have should be able to blow the bulls current team out of the water with ease. I dont normally have a go at either refs or coaches but we seem to be poorly coached and void of intensity, game plan and attitude and both teams last night looked like neither should be in the top 8.
