hypothetically speaking here,but couldn't hock have been training on and off at wigan during this ban?
surely any sessions carried out at an un-named/irregular training base would seem to be safe enough venue would it not?
what is the rfl deterent to this? |

I hope he comes back well. He's a big strong forward. If he can cut out the errors from his game he could be an immense player. In any event, on a purely playing basis, a fit and in-form Hock would walk into Leeds' pack (he'd probably also walk through it at the moment).

Because it makes no sense whatsoever for a team to foot the bill, and have the added inconvenience to covertly uproot to an unfamiliar training ground to allow a banned player to train "on and off". Can't see why the RFL would need a deterrent?!
I can't see what Wigan or Hock would gain from him having the odd secret training session here and there. |

That may well but there is no law saying that once a rugby player reaches a certain ability he has to get paid at least minimum wage. |

i think his ban was a bit harsh for a non enhancing drug after all didnt cunningham just get a fine and had to attend a course or summat
