its getting tedious giving you the stock reply Mick,so here it comes from another angle.
How can a club be in decline when it is building a completely new stand, redeveloping the other, building a state of the art screen scoreboard,laying a new pitch,All financed by the club itself,not council money,no sugar daddy,no community thing,Its all financed by the club itself not by a soccer chairman either.So if this great super league Marquie club is in decline what does that say about the rest?

My take
Hetherington wanted McClennan out at the end of the 2010 season sadly for GH McClennan's contract allowed him a further year.
GH decided he would bring McD in to completely undermine McClennan and to ensure maximum embarrassment he resigned a whole host of aged players. GH thought the fans would sign up like lap dogs, McD would be protected and the cash would keep coming and the only loser would be McClennan.
Sadly GH underestimated McClennan saw through the plan and left; the fans also saw the squad and thought not spending my hard earned to watch that. Now GH has a coach who he thought would be under the radar in the spotlight and a significantly reduced revenue stream
As the saying goes you reap what you sew!!

hang on!Bluey was on a years extension,due to end in 2010.Then he accepted an offer for a further year,He then asked for his release for what ever reason.I remember it was well into the season when he accepted an extension fpr another season |
