| From the north stand I heard a few rounds of "only one Greg Eastwood" but no booing.

| From my location in the SS i heard distinctive booing from close by.The crowd noise coming from further along toward the SS centre certainly seemed to include booing at different stages. That was also the opinion of those with me.
Perplexing behaviour in my view....whether we 'like' or agree with his stated reasons for wanting to leave,he is still playing for us.

| Every time Greg received the ball a section of the southstand was booing him. Glad that the small minded minority were drowned out by those making more positive noises later in the game.

| There were definitely boos coming from the Southstand every time he got the ball, and I'd be enclined to say fair enough, why should any of us show any loyalty to him who clearly couldn't give a stuff about the club and it's great tradition?
Maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age but an eye for an eye and all that.....

...leaves us all blind.
I know you come from a football background where booing players you don't like (even if they are playing for your team, see the recent England game for example) is the accepted norm, but IMO it has no place in RL.

An eye for an eye would imply that Eastwood booed the fans and slagged them off?
Ive said it a few times, but i dont get why fans cant draw similarities between the normal work place for 'you or i' and a player playing for his employer. This loyalty thing can apply to players who've come through the ranks in a family unit and in other instances which is great and should be applauded. But the same can be applied to the common work place, how many people show 'loyalty' to their employer and wouldnt leave to a better opportunity or when things arent right?....of course you would and who could blame you, but why should it be any different for a rugby player doing his job?

Yep, because that's exactly what he's doing. Hence why he's going to <<insert super league team>> for more money, instead of back home to his family right??

Quite simply window dressing so he can find an excuse to rejoin the Bulldogs.

Incorrect, I was attending Rugby League fixtures long before football.

| Its up to Eastwood to change fans' perception of him. A lot probably think of him as an injury-prone player who's proved very disappointing so far.
A great performance at Wembley would probably change a lot of attitudes. Just a thought.
