Well i've just read thou the 2nd/3rd page of this thread. The word I used in retaliation was wrong and I do apologise to those offended. To me it was not a very insultive word but to others obviously so. But to set the record straight as Rhinoms said I was insulted unprovoked prior to that, in which caused my retaliation.


Back to the thread I doubt we will be bringing anyone in, esp Smithy who wont come cheap salary wise which GH has already indicated is a big problem.

If you're talking about a loan arrangement I really can't see it happening as I fail to see what LS would be getting out of it; it wouldn't progress his union career, nor would it be in his interests assuming other league clubs were offering longer term contracts.

Agree, Also why would Lee Smith give up so early? Ok If Lee had been at the wasps for 2 years and was still in the reserve side then maybe so, but after just 5 months? Nah

You're correct, a loan agreement certainly wouldn't make sense, especially not for Wasps, so it's back for good or not at all. The delay in him coming back has most certainly been contractual stuff, which is understandable because Wasps obviously want to try and salvage something from their mistake.

If he does come back, it really will beg the question how many more will try to cross the great divide? Plenty have come back tails between legs less than a year in, having never been given/taken a chance
