Quote: Ken Gréinjék "The start to the season hasn't been good and changes need to be made.
Mclennan has run out of ideas.
Webb cost us points on Saturday.
Donald is disinterested.
Senior is a shining light but was weak on Sunday.
Delaney, injured already. Hope he's not another Bradley Clyde.
Hall gives me hope but was slow chasing Brough.
The half backs have been found out. Mcguire has lost his pace and isn't a natural stand off (he creates very little), Burrow is inneffective.
Two hookers doesnt work, why does Mclennan persist.
The pack isnt good enough. It doesnt make enough yards. Burgess can't catch, Kirke isnt good enough full stop, Buchanan has gone backwards and Leuluai is blowing after 2 minutes. Sinfield might be a good captain and goal kicker but he's the rest of his game is just not very good. I like Peacock but he's been overplayed the last two years.
Eastwood? Unfit, slow. This guy is an International?
These are issues that should have been addressed off season but we are resting on our laurels like the when Murray left.'"
The start has not been good but to start making changes could end up causing more problems. I have read these boards for years and have always been interested in the debates / adverse reactions to losses bad performances. The players are making all the right comments in relation to not winning and sticking together. I think, if after the world club challenge the performance and result are the same then i will indeed worry. It will be interesting to see the post's after this match my belief is that we will see a totally different performance and result. The team dont intentionally want to get beat but i think the WCC is the teams 1st game and the games before have been taken as like a pre season game ( not too concerned if beaten etc just avoid injury build up strength and dare a i suggest give melbourne the idea that we have poor form )
Mclennan is one of if not the best coach
Webb proabably won us / saved us more points than cost us
Donald thinking he had just got a centre that passes now injured
Senior off day
Delanney got an injury due to the current conditions and his body not used to such weather.
Hall still learning
Maguire has improved in my opinion and more to his game than just backing up.
Two hookers works as both can cover other positions Buderus is one of the best around the ruck and ball handling.
Pack is good enough to match any team in the league i for one think the game against Melbourne will be tough but we will see a much better performance and positive result, if not i may well agree with the current posts.
