Sporting Events (Control of Alchol etc) Act 1985 section 9(3)
“Designated sporting event”—
(a)means a sporting event or proposed sporting event for the time being designated, or of a class designated, by order made by the Secretary of State...
I think the most recent order is The Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) Order 2005: www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2005/20053204.htm
2. For the purposes of the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985, there are hereby designated—
(2) the classes of sporting events specified in Part 1 of Schedule 2
to this Order at any sports ground specified in Schedule 1; and
(3) the classes of sporting events specified in Part 2 of Schedule 2
Sch.2 Pt1 and Pt 2 only refer to Association Football matches so the ban doesn't apply to RL, at least not under the 1985 Act. |

They was a time I was at Leeds Rhinos week in week out home or away bar Catalan or London (just outside Yorkshires far enough for me). I’m sure they was a time you wasn’t at many Rhinos games during a year. If you’ve not encounter this and you may do in the future unless you have a deal with Madame Tussauds who’ll role you out as effect when you decide not to go anymore.. |
