Horrendous injury and I hope he makes a full recovery from it. As has been said elsewhere well done to senior for the way he reacted so quickly as soon as he realised what had happened.

Perhaps those who are patting themselves on the back for their chants in support of Chev (it was a nice gesture) could reflect upon the completely and utterly pointless 'wash your mouth' song (and other gems such as 'sing when you're fishing').

No it wasn't, nothing will ever compare to David Busst, the only thing that kept his leg attached was a single a 1" peace of tendon and a sock tie.


Chev's was shocking but I expect and wish him to make a full recovery, a good guy and good player.

It looked awful but not as bad the break that Edourdo the Arsenal player suffered and he is back as good as new - so hopefull Hull KR will invest the appropriate funds in the medical treatment to get Chev's leg correctly treated

They'd be insured sufficiently for this sort of thing presumably?

I hope and think you're right though - similar incidents in football have resulted in full recoveries so hopefully the same for Chev.

Common decency? Do get over yourself. In the midst of the self-congratulatory stuff I simply thought people might reflect upon whether we need mindless chants like the 'Chelsea' song (becuase that's what it awlays was and should be) and, particularly, whether we needed it last night?
All very well congratulating the SS (I'm part of it) but many in the same stand were a) abusing CW prior to the incident and b) abusing Hull KR and their fans shortly afterwards.

Chev will be fine, a bit of manipulation, wires and screws, choice of coloured pot, 6 months rehab and good as new.

When all is said and done its a broken bone and I'm sure that whichever hospital he was taken to has had lots of experience of broken bones, complications and all.

Its not like he was kicked in the head in the field of play and couldn't work again for the rest of his life or even died on the field.

I'm sure he'll make a good recovery and the precious lambs who have been horrified by what they saw can probably claim some compensation...
