Pleeeeasssse.
Along with Gareth and Danny at the time in his first season, I was won of the very few defending the lad.
I waited until 8 games into this season before I started critisizing him.
Is that really 1 game?

No but after 3 seasons, 2 GF wins and 2 Dream team selections you wanted him out of the club if he didn't score at Quinns.

| I've said before, there is plenty of quality beef to be found in the lower leagues. You will always have kids who shine at 16 and end up in SL academy sides but then simply don't develop the physical size and strength to make an impact in the pro game. Likewise there are kids you will miss who (like Kyle) get spotted later or don't take the game seriously as a youngster, and then end up playing lower league football. It must be really difficult to look SL class in slower games with less skillfull halfbacks etc. around you. I hope he goes well for us.
Although just to say, we did have a very good young prop who was already SL level we didn't keep this year. His stats for the Bulls are as good as anyone at Leeds bar Peacock.

His choice,at least he's maintaining some form in SL's bottom 3.

| Amor looked effective as a Whitehaven player.
Tonight will be his first (TV) game as a contracted Leeds player. It will be interesting to see if it makes a difference to his approach and performance.
Hopefully the attention won't go to his head.

| Quote: rhinoms "His choice,.'"
All depends on what was on the table. He might have been given no choice. One possible scenario is that Leeds thought Burgess was the better long term option and made Scruton an offer lower than one they already knew he had from the Bulls. If he goes, fine, if he stays they get a good player on reasonable money.
As I said that's one scenario. There are many ways these things can play out, and even the facts can't tell you intentions of those involved. I could probably be confident in saying thought that the Bulls don't have silly money to splash around so my guess is Leeds could have matched their offer. In that case I can't see Scrutes moving from the Champions (where he was a first team regular and GF winner) to, well, the Bulls? But then again you can always spin these things the way you want.

That's fair enough but GH tabled what offer he thought was best and scrutes is now in the bottom 3!!

| He must have worked hard to bulk up from centre to prop forward in 12 months.
I can only remember Harvey Howard and Ruben Wiki making that move and certainly not in such a short space of time.
