From an adult perspective I enjoyed the set up at Murrayfield. The queues for the bars and food stalls weren't too long and it was great sitting in the sun with a pint. For the kids there seemed to be a lot going on behind the west stand with inflatables and stuff but unfortunately this was curtailed by high winds on the sunday. The only prob would have been if it had rained. Luckily it didn't but some more under cover areas around the stadium would be an idea for next year.
As far as prices are concerned they may seem steep but they were typical of "festival" prices. It was never going to be a cheap weekend but it's an "event" that all clubs supporters can go to and be involved as opposed to GF night. In that way it was inclusive and seemed to attract a good cross section of fans. 99.9% of the fans were true RL fans without any dickeads. I didn't see any ugly moments in the whole weekend which makes a change from other big RL events I've been to.
As far as ticketing was concerned there seemed to be enough space to move around the stadium at will apart from in the east stand which was mainly full so as to look good on TV. Elsewhere you could almost have your pick of seats.
Edinburgh as a city has plenty of great bars and restaurants and more accommodation than Cardiff. I will certainly be back next year and would recommend it.'"
at a festival you pay loads for a ticket but you only pay a few pound for a ticket at magic weekend so a pint at £3.50 seems a bit much |

| fantastic weekend. great digs at joppa, sea view, the tourist things were brilliant,the food and drink was supurb.

Excellent weekend in a superb city. Edinburgh offers a great deal away from the RL in terms of food, entertainment, culture, sightseeing etc.
Agree with Asim regarding the crowd. Throughout the weekend I spoke to fans of pretty much every club. There was 'banter' in the true sense but little of the uglier stuff (although the atmosphere for the Leeds v Cats game was the worst of the weekend in that sense).
We should celebrate events like this, one of the few things the RFL get right.

| £200 well spent. Great stadium, good mix of fans, good banter and an absolutley amazing city to explore. Agreed there will be issues with prices and food costs but it was a cross i was prepared to buy.
And i got to see Kifaru with his famous three-quarter lengths on again too. |
