That award goes to the Bulls game 2 weeks ago. That was so bad I almost turned over.
Vital positions as in near our own line or just over the halfway line on the 2nd or 3rd tackle. That is where the lack of composue comes into it. Had we have steadied it instead of trying silly offloads and put our selves into a position to build pressure on the oppos 20 then we wouldnt have been chasing like we did.
BTW a vital position doesnt have to be the same as an attacking position. |

The St Helens fans were clearly heard booing their own teams performance and it wasn't restricted to just the end of the match either.

Last nights performance was woeful and was down to a lot more than a lack of composure. Our forwards went missing apart from the first 5 minutes of both halves. Ali rectified it slightly when he came on but it was nowhere near enough. Going through a set of six having Donald, Burrow, McGuire and Hall taking the ball up while the forwards stood and watched is unacceptable. Also our kicking game was shocking. I cant recall one occasion where a kick split the fullback and winger.

Indeed, I noticed that too .... Trying to get out of our own 20 from a restart and it taking FOUR tackles for any of the lazy, work-shy forwards to get their fingers out and take up the ball. |

To boo a team off after a poor performance is different to shouting personal abuse at one player before he plays the match as he is warming up is different.

But their hard spent cash will be if we start playing in front of crowds of less than 10K. Our attendances are now beginning to fall, 14 500 last season compared with 13,900 for the same fixture - people are voting with their feet. Ask GH if he misses 600 supporters. What will the attendances be at the end of the season if we continue to deliver the garbage that has been served up in the last two home fixtures. |

But few of them did put their body on the line. The coach has obviously determined the current style of play i.e. 5 drives and an aimless kick. He must acknowledge that it is not paying dividends and create an plan B asap. |
