Funnily enough I was thinking of 'Marvellous' Marvin when reading the thread on Kallum Watkins as Golden looked good in the reseverves/academy, was promoted to the first team, made lots of mistakes, lost confidence and his career as a top flight player was over. Leroy Rivett was perhaps another. I was hoping history doesn't repeat itself with Watkins.

Thats it!  Because Harris used to single handedly carry Leeds for games when he was here maybe the players tonight thought he would do it again, you know, for old times sake?? |

I wouldn't agree there. Golden's solid, I can't remember him being an error ridden player at all. Solid at centre or second row. He was very work man like and never gave up. He wasn't judged to have that extra quality to his game though. Just didn't quite make the grade, not for his want of trying or for his mistakes. |
