I don't think the CC needs scraping but I do think it needs a revamp. It seems very outdated the way it is at the minute.

It's the premier cup competition in the RL world. It is what it is. Rugby balls in the hat drawn at random over several rounds and then the last five rounds when the big boys join in.
This year's comp is going to be a procession now but that's down to the luck of the draw and occasionally s[ihi[/it happens..

| Football has the Premier league, FA cup , Champions League, League cup, and Uefa cup, and seems to manage, but RL should just have have one comp? great idea. no exposure on terrestial TV then, and less interest for a lot of clubs.
I would love a day out at the 'new' wembley following my team in the sunshine, but will probably have to wait till its knock it down again and version 3 at this rate  |

Anyone who says they aren't interested in the cup is blatently lying, winning the cup was something I dreamed of when I was a kid, and I'm sure it's the same for every player in the game.
Yes I'm gutted we lost the game, but in the long run it will benefit us more to have the weeks off, and a chance to make some real history come October, and I couldn't really see us doing both realistically.

Indeed. Must have been dreaming that I was in London watching Leeds beat Warrington in 1936. And also there again in 1937 and 1938. I have been going almost every year since and even at my advanced age I shall be there again this year.
In fact I consider the Super League the Mickey Mouse Competition which is played at the wrong time of the year to be a true Rugby League Competition.
