When the do get round to a remake of the North Stand I am sure they will put them in there too.

Lets face it, The SouthStand does not need corporate facility inside it, and who on earth would want to pay a fortune to sit above us lot haha.
There would be better uses of the space. A new Shop, New Leeds Ruby Offaces and maybe a new ticket office for start. After that what about a new Supporters Club and perhaps an official club museum/hall of fame.
Then we can put all the corporate stuff into the north stand and maybe in time the west stand.

To be Honest, Australia have it right with Leagues Clubs.

That plan would be the current shop and offices could be knocked down to provide more disabled and corporate parking facility's.

No, No, No - next you will be saying we are moving to Odsal while the New stand is being built !

For the support that is generated from the south stand it may as well be all seater.

Its like this.

Standing - sing when they're winning.
Seating - sing when they're winning.

Standing - fekwits all congretating in one place to issue foul abuse to opposing players.
Seating - less opportunity for said mass to be all together.

I stand in the South Stand and I'm far from Chav! My reasons for standing there is I've been going to the rugby since I was 5 and the concept of sitting down to watch a match is alien to me.

Also, I (me, personally!) can't see the game from behind the sticks. I'm sure if that's what you're used to then you'll be well used to it over the years but IMO you can never tell how far from the line we are, how close to touch we are, if the chase is good on a kick, who's likely to reach the bomb first, if a pass is forward etc. Drives me mad at away games.

Should re-do the Southstand as it is minus the pillars, maybe abit bigger. Above it there should be corporate facilities, boxes and a balcony all the way across, with enough seats for the people in the boxes but no more. I just don't think you can justify another 2000 seats in the ground when the Carnegie Upper rarely (if ever) sells out.
Whatever happens we cannot go to an all seated Southstand, if that happened and we didn't win anything for a couple of years the crowds would be back down to 10,000 average IMO.

an interesting idea, boxes with a couple of rows of seats for the corporates to sit in above a redone south stand thats 100% standing.

fulfills the need for more corporate and keeps to the SS heritage.
