| Not only has McGuire been an extremely good try scorer, but he's always created alot more than the Leeds fans give him credit for as well IMO. Has been one of our best players ever since he came into the side.
tvoc, what is your non-statistical opinion of McGuire?

| FWIW I think the Burrow-McGuire halfback partnership will end up going down as one of the best - if not the best - in the club's history. Both will end up with a shedload of tries, not to mention winning at least 2 GFs (I know Burrow started 04 from the bench but he was there).

| Quote: tvoc "Leeds' Top 5 Try Scorers of the SL Era (All Comps)
1 - Francis Cummins - 136 (268 Appearances)
2 - Keith Senior - 135 (267 Appearances)
3 - Danny McGuire - 133 (167 Appearances)
4 - Rob Burrow - 107 (223 Appearances)
5 - Mark Calderwood - 106 (143 Appearances)
So this one should finally see a new leader shortly and probably another new name at the top by the season end.'"
Well done to Keith Senior, a nice touch of symmetry at the top (268 Appearances)
136 (268 Appearances)

<AP Hat on>
They're both crap and wouldn't have made it in the super duper NRL.

| Quote: tvoc "That information is classified and way too embarrasing for me to divulge. Some Bradford fans are having a stab at it over rlhererl I fear it can only be a matter of time before the painful truth is revealed.
It's improving but still Leeds' major disappointment in terms of 50/50 parity. Ask me again if Leeds win the next 11 meetings.
But the stats on Saints look better I understand?

There's an up to date summary on the state of Leeds V St Helens on page 2 of this thread.
It's close.
And while I'm here wouldn't it be neat if McGuire scores a hat-trick at Harlequins on Sunday and creates a 3-way share for most tries with Cummins and Senior?

So they say.
I have no (independent) way of verifying what Farrell did or didn't do so it's not something I'd personally look to include here.
The last time Rob Burrow missed a kick at goal for Leeds was V Bradford, 7th July 2006. That game ended with his match winning conversion off the Southstand touchline into the empty building site.
2006 - 12
2007 - 5
2008 - 7
Not sure if it can turn into a 'genuine' attempt at the world record with him only filling in as a back up kicker but it's not too shabby.
