I rate Lui highly. Think he is an excellent hslf back. Wouldnt be surprising if we're not in for both

I actually rate him too (by all accounts he’s been Salfords best player for the last few weeks) but I don’t think hes what we need atm

The only way we would get both is if lui joined immediately with Hastings following next season, but I think that’s fantasy land.

Theyre not happy about it the Salford fans which tells you all you need to know. Imo we'll sign 2 halfbacks but whether both for this season is a different matter. Lui is light years ahead of our current half backs

Lui is a much better standard than what we have now but is not of the required standard to get us back to grand finals.

Jesus cant believe the negativity of some. Hes a million miles better than sutcliffe at standoff. A million miles better. Hes a huge improvement on what we have. Also Lui might be best we can get at the moment and imo he'll be a huge help to us staying up. Hes been excellent for Salford.

We need a really good 7 as well no doubt about it but that might have to come next year.

Anyways lets see.. but if it is Lui I'm happy with that. Id love hastings to come but it might be next year or he might not be fully committed so Leeds have said 'no thank you'. The club cant do anymore than that at the moment

Just a real one from left field this. He's a bit too maverick for me which isn't ideally what we want but beggers can't be choosers.

Thing is, if it's maverick your looking for we could just have played Dwyer at 7 and then given McClelland a run as he has a better kicking game.

I'm really not sure about the Lui signing
