Retain which players? most of them are not good enough anyway. Bielsa already said he could not coach these same set of players to do this again. That was as much as you will get out of them. Or are you talking about the youngsters, Clarke, Shackleton?

Probably look to keep Foreshaw Dallas for their utility value and probably Cooper.

Who we keep will depend on if Bielsa stays and which players are wanted by Prem clubs.

Can't imagine many being wanted by prem clubs. Maybe Phillips and Jansson but the rest are genuine Championship standard players. Clarke will be good but has gone off the boil since his illness.

Will be shocked if Bielsa stays.

I reckon a few of the lower prem teams will be interested in Roofe, as well as Janson and Phillips. We'll also do well to keep Clarke and Shackleton. I'd give Shackleton a run at 10 to be honest.

Massively agree. He akes far too many big errors in big games to be at Leeds let alone captain. I actually think Izzy Brown could have had a big say in last few matches had he put faith in him. I refuse to blame Bielsa for any of it. We had basically last seasons squad less a couple of regulars and he managed to drag that lot to the heights. Also feel Tyler Roberts has been a massive loss

Phillips (again matured into a superb player), Roofe, Pontus, Roberts, Klich, Clarke, Shackleton, Dallas, Douglas (fully fit will be an asset), and that is near enough it

Pretty much agree , retaining the younger players is the way forward obviously , the key to moving forward is most definitely acquiring quality experienced players , not an easy task at championship level .

BTW now the dust as settled , what a thrill ride this season has been , some of the best most entertaining football seen at Elland rd for many years , I'd take that every day of the week and twice on Sundays

Pressure games they always bottle (Norwich, Sheff Utd, Wigan and now Derby ) all at home too.
I always said that Bartley made the likes of Cooper and Jansson look good.
Hernandez has not played well for the past 6 weeks and we simply did not have any strength in depth when injuries started to bite.
I actually felt that Lampard out thought Bielsa on the night so credit to him in his first season.
If Bielsa stays we need to invest around £20 million in buying a quality defender, midfielder and attacker.
Now we might get that from the sale of 2 or 3 players but that means we need to replace those 2 or 3 with quality loans.
Oh and the way the goalkeeper played on Wednesday is a worry too.

20 Mil doesn't go as far as it used to. There's no way have that kind of money to spend. Perhaps the Americans will buy a bigger stake in the club, but until that happens or we sell our best players, it isn't going to happen.
