| Well thats strange because I watched the first half at home and the second half at an eighth birthday party where there was cake, there has to be cake, or at least there was cake until I got there.

It is a health and safety requirement that you stay seated at all times. It is listed on the back of your ticket as a ground regulation, you break them, you go out, simple as.

And if there wasn't cake there'd have ben trouble...proving my point about Leeds 'fans' not always being blameless in the mindless violence stakes.
On a serious note, I'd assume most FC fans are quite happy for their infant knuckle draggers to occupy themselves in the corner as it keeps them away from the rest of them.

What a load of tosh this is.
suppose it was leeds supporters who pulled the posts down in the cc semi final at huddersfield!!!!!!
mud sticks and it looks likes a bit more as stuck after the weekend's events in Hull's direction.

Rhinos Website has published an email address you can contact to let them know your seat no and any info about behaviour near you. Hull FC's website doesn't appear to have anything similar though!
The RFL is investigating reports of crowd disturbances at last Saturday's Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth round tie between Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos at the KC Stadium.
The RFL has received a report from the stadium’s ground safety officer and is working closely with Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos, both of whom are co-operating fully with the investigation.
The RFL will be making no further comment until the investigation process is complete. If you have any information that you would like to pass on to the investigating team please email CCCup@leedsrugby.com with as much details as possible including your name and a contact telephone number along with where you were sat at the game

They had the webbing there on Saturday and stewards stood in between. As you correctly pointed out this didn't have much of an effect when drinks were being thrown over the top.

| Hull have some fantastic fans. Some of the best in the game. It was the fans, rather than the club, that were the driving force behind the away supporters liaison officer Puig mentioned and I played for the Leeds fans against the Hull fans at the party in the park that preceded the first Leeds vs Hull game at the KC (and got interviewed by Bill Arthur, no less). I wasn't there on Saturday (no violence in my living room) but I hope the good work of the majority of great Hull fans isn't being wasted.
All clubs need to realise that it's in their own interests to make it a welcoming and pleasant day out for visiting fans and their all important £ notes.
All clubs have their idiots, us included mind so nobody on here should be taking the moral high ground. Our "fans" appear to be getting quite keen on throwing bottles onto the pitch (Cas way a couple of years back).
IA has done the right things by emailing both clubs and hopefully both clubs will act. That said, whether it's our idiots or these Hull are responsible for what happens on their own middin and I hope they clean up their act.

| What I can't understand is that it seems most teams when going to the KC seem to complain about that corner, and seems it's not just the rugby side either. So if the RFL or anybody else are going to investigate why not, and it's just a thought here, send an investigator to observe that section over the course of a few games?

| I wasn't there on Saturday because I was at Gillingham - I'm actually surprised that we are on the 4th page of the topic without football fans being blamed.
All those getting on their high horse need to take a closer look at the Leeds fans behaviour over the last few years because I genuinely believe it is getting worse.
That said, note the amount of police at Headingley next time Hull or Hull KR are in town. That tells its own story, it is far more than when any other club visit.
I have travelled the country for years watching football and a lot of what I have seen is not always pleasant. Unfortunately some days out for rugby seem to be getting as bad, but don't worry too much because it is a family sport ... isn't it?

Are you talking about Football or Rugby here? All rugby clubs have some less than desirable types but I can't think of another rugby ground I have visited where they all seem to congregate in one section all the time where seemingley their soul purpose of the day is to have a go, antagonise and generally goad opposition fans.
Although I have noticed a few dodgy types constantly on the WT

Not quite, it is a condition of the purchase of the ticket that they would like you to remain seated (at all times?) and reserve the right to throw you out if you don't do what they would like you to do. It has nothing primarily to do with health & safety because it is not inherently unsafe to stand up in front of your seat. If it was how would you get to your seat in the first place, what about half time, what about having to stand to let other people (rather annoyingly) go passed to have a p1ss before half time. The main reason they don't want anyone to stand for long periods is that the people behind you stand and that in the main just hacks people off... why have a seat and not sit in it.
Of course I am fairly certain that the clubs risk assessments do talk about preventing large sections of the crowd from standing for long periods as this could lead to safety problems and crowd trouble if they get over excited and start to d1ck about.
So, it has nothing really to do with health & safety (as most things that get blamed (by the Daily Mail mainly) on health & safety LAWS don't either) and it just a condition that they would like you to follow. If someone is stood at the back of the stand, no messing about, then there is no real reason to kick them out or be worried about anything unless there risk assessment expressly states that this is a risk, which I doubt!
They of course don't need any reason to kick you out or not let you in to the ground in the first place, it is their ground, they can do what they like as long as they don't break any other law by telling you can't come in because you are too old, of the wrong sex, of the wrong race of because you are disabled!
