| I'm with Sal on Moon. He's a good runner, and my issue isn't just the times he runs the left side out of space, its that he himself would be far more dangerous if he left himself more options including a pass back inside which is nearly impossible on a diagonal run - which he would do if he ran straighter.

I agree, which is why I'd quite like to see how Moon would do at stand off. I'm pretty sure he'd have the kicking & passing skills required (with a bit of practice), I'm certain he's got the rugby brain for it and his running and ability to stand up a defender could cause havoc running at a defence as a 6.
Though of course that would require a quality centre to replace him there.

| I shared the same concerns about Moon last year and early this year. He has improved significantly as the season went on mind and was playing very well up to a small dip in the last game.

As did I, especially when the knives were unnecessarily out for Hall near the start of the season. It was/is plain to see Moon's issues at times when playing centre although I agree he has been better recently in not making a beeline for the sideline.

| If moon is drifting out towards the touchline and taking space then back needs to come inside especially if he's brought defenders with him

| Is it me or is it simply the whole back line is stuttering at the moment - I think Zak is probably the exception?

| When will people wake up?
Leeds form has gone west ever since the magic weekend. Such has been leeds impotence in attack their previously far superior points difference has been completly eaten away despite only really suffering close defeats.
When I try and point out the problems with leeds attack as a team people just dig their heels in. As soon as they hear the word structure when comparisons are made with wigans far more effective methods they falsely write it off as robotic and boring, failing to see what is going on.
Honestly?
Cas will win the CC. (Don't know whether they'll play us or warrington). Their wide attacking play will suit a summer afternoon at wembley and powell has plenty of previous experience to help the players.
Wigan will finish top and win the grand final.

| We haven't played a full strength team for weeks, we have rotated, and been forced to rotate the team during the second half of the season. We've shown we can beat any team in the competition and we have as much chance as anyone else in the top 5 or 6 of winning it. All the teams around us have to play each other between now and the end of the season so it's still wide open for anyone to finish top.
We have shown some deficiencies but I wouldn't call them "Big problems" all are fixable.

We've all said the attack needs to be better so it isn't exactly your lone crusade you make out.
Btw the Wigan team you admire so much scored just 8 points against the same team a few days ago.
Wide attacking play rarely comes into contention when finals are played as it's usually a much tighter nervous affair. And whatever experience Powell has that you think will help Cas, both McDermott, Smith and their players have much much more. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Brown is properly fit that Widnes might upset Cas next week.
