Is Bailey scoring a try determined by someone else or by Bailey?

You see that is the difference. My original post wasn't about Bailey on his own, it was about the interpretation of Bailey. Bailey could commit a tackle that is within the rules but close, and he will be done for it. Another player could commit the tackle outside the rules and the game moves on.

He has created this issue himself, but not helped by baying oppossition supporters. Tomorrow we are away from home, againts supportes who will deem it their cup final, playing in a knockout game, with a ref who seems to currently have a problem with the team. Bailey is the icing on the cake in that scenario, and why I said, I can seem him getting sent off tomorrow.

Kevin Brown and LOD are no longer at Hudds so he'll have to find another target.

If the game is going away from Leeds then maybe he'll do something like the flops his did in CC Finals vs Wire or worst but if we're going ok he'll be fine, he's kept his cool more often than he's lost it in big games....can you recall him doing anything bad in a GF?

We were going ok last week. It didn't stop the ref pinning him, and the commentary team calling for him to be removed from the field.

Like I repeat, the issue isn't just Bailey, but the interpretation of others. Bailey can not send himself off, or penalise himself, somebody else does it. That is not to say he is always innocent, but atmosphere and ref plays a part in how something is interpreted.

Yes but he still didn't get sent off at Bradford even with the different interpretation of what Bailey does so doesn't mean he'll get sent off. Its just as likely going by recent past that Peacock will get in trouble with Bentham as ref.

You say that but his sending off against the Catalans, tbf he was lucky to still be on the pitch after that high shot

It's worth noting that Bailey wasn't sent off until around the 50 minute mark. By my reckoning, instead of there being a 50/50 chance of dismissal, he's hovering somewhere around the 73% mark. Got to be worth a punt.

Shambolic.

No direction at all from 6,7 and 9. Forwards tried hard, but those behind them looked like headless chickens.

Time to start seeing whether Sutcliffe is up to this level or not. At least he might actually pass a ball instead of spending most of the game trying to do it on his own and starting fights.

Not bothered by the result but I'm bothered by the performance. We stayed too central and what does Watkins have to do to get the ball? Especially with a man extra.

Giants were very good defensively though and really rattled us. The only team to truly have our number this year.

Completely spot on. Half backs and that one trick pony number 7 were very much the problem in that game. Burrow wasted so much possession for us with his desire to prove he literally can run up his own arris.

I also think we looked a tired overworked team mentally. Hopefully now we will finally see some rotation, and we do have the benefit of a week off now.

As a neutral one of the worst performances I have seen from rhinos in a while. As already stated very one dimensional and easy to defend against. Trying force men through small gaps when there was acres of space out wide. Quite baffled by that performance.

I thought Brough controlled the first half very well with intelligent kicking, I was expecting Sinfield to do the same in the second half, but there was nothing forthcoming. I'd go as far as to say he was anonymous.

Give Huddersfield some credit they were excellent on the day - Leeds looked like an old, slow and tired side. The forwards tried hard but one set in the first half when 4 of them were trundling back and didn't make it back until play 4!!

Agree re the halves something needs to be done, all 3 of them were very poor and Lunt shows how important a proper nine is.

We cannot continue to waste Watkins on the wing he is a potential game breaker and he needs to be properly used. Ablett needs to be back in the forwards.

Watkins got the ball three times through the hands and scored two tries. Even against 12 men the reluctance to bypass JP and find overlaps was astonishing.

On the other side of the field, Cudjoe did a really good job on restricting Moon/Hall but there wasn't a lot of time or space there given how slow the ball was from dummy-half and first receiver.
