Done his time, welcome to play, only issue i get is if he's 90% as good as when he got banned then Wigan could just be Favourites to win the Grand final(over Wire) as he's one hell of a player and could give them the just that edge(like when we got Ali)IMO he's one of the few forwards ive seen in recent years who isnt scared of the ozzies/kiwis when he plays internationally.T
Sure i'll get shot down by some but that my opinion'"
Not at all. He's prone to brainfarts as much as the next fella in the team, but is still a good solid player. He's also a dead ringer for Michael Schumacher.
Bonus.

you should all know by now to take everything Rogues says with a pinch of salt, its usually made up.'"
To the Saints fan poster
He is fit, but maybe not rugby fit.
At a recent "test" he did the hill run, and was timed. His time was the fourth fastest of any forward currently at Wigan. When someone has been out of the game so long it will take time to get to match fitness.
Someone asked how tall Hock is.
He's about 6'2" which I think is about the same as Peacock, just to give you some idea.

I well remember Ryan Bailey and Gareth Hock giving the Aussies some real pain in an academy game a few years back.

| At least with Hock back in the side, it'll make O'Loughlins tackles look legal.

hypothetically speaking here, but couldn't hock have been training on and off at wigan during this ban?
surely any sessions carried out at an un-named/irregular training base would seem to be safe enough venue would it not?
what is the rfl deterent to this?

| I hope he comes back well. He's a big strong forward. If he can cut out the errors from his game he could be an immense player. In any event, on a purely playing basis, a fit and in-form Hock would walk into Leeds' pack (he'd probably also walk through it at the moment).

Because it makes no sense whatsoever for a team to foot the bill, and have the added inconvenience to covertly uproot to an unfamiliar training ground to allow a banned player to train "on and off". Can't see why the RFL would need a deterrent?!
I can't see what Wigan or Hock would gain from him having the odd secret training session here and there.
