Thought that Wakey were the better side and deserved the win. We just had the individuals who could come up with that bit extra and we stole it. Really hard on Wakey to lose that.

****ing joke of a VR decision. I don't even think Atkins had anywhere near control of that ball for the touchdown either. He bounced it and instantly tried to recover it again and failed.

Don't really know what Webb was doing when he got binned. We had plenty of men back and the Wakey player was by himself. If he'd just got off him straight away the Wakey player would have had no one to play it to.

Can't get excited about it, that decision totally ruined it for me. If you can't get it right after seeing it 10x on TV you should be sacked.

Obst was actually holding Webb as well.

We outscored Wakefield 6 Tries to 4 IMO we deserve to win just for that fact, Wakefield played well but we showed just why we are Champions...
The Ryan Atkins TRY was never a TRY IMO but we don't seem to be getting the rub of the green at the minute....

Me too. When Robbie went over i warned my good lady that when we scored again to win the game i was gonna shout the house down. Get in the mighty Rhinos !!!!!!

A huge amount of credit has to go to Jamie Peacock for that Barnstorming run so close to the end of the match...

The point that I had in my head, but didn't really put in my post, was that it was a huge Wakey team effort which nearly won the game for them. They were in the position they got because of the strategy of their side and their team effort.

We won, IMO, because we have far better individuals who have the ability to create something out of nothing when the pressure is on. That wasn't a strategic team win. We certainly didn't set out to win the game like that. If we'd have put in a team effort to match Wakey then we'd have won the game comfortably.

Scoring 6 tries to 4 sounds very conclusive. But the fact is that 2 of those tries came in the dying moments when we thought we'd lost. We got out of jail today and I think nearly everyone who watched that game will think that we robbed Wakey as much as the VR robbed us of a correct decision.

Thought we looked a better side with Buderus at acting half back.

He also had nobody to play it to and was making no effort to get up. Pretty much every time in that situation you will see the same thing with the tackler taking time to get off - it suits attacker and defender usually. Seen it hundreds of times and seldom a penalty let alone a yellow.

Anyway, well done to Leeds, another deserved win.

Mentioned that to the guys at work this morning. He was tackled pretty much on half way, but the tackle ended up being completed on their 40, as he dragged 3 blokes along with him. It was on the next tackle that we ended up scoring, so you can make your own minds up as to how much the extra metres were worth.

Also, credit to Keith for the tackle before, where he gets to the 40m line in the first place.
